qq bobbed her head along to the music on her earpiece as she wrote her answer down on her paper. they were in qq's room, and they were currently doing homework, with qq hogging the bed, and kageyama sitting on the floor.

suddenly, the lights went out.

"we can finally take a break!" qq yelled happily as she clicked her pen shut.

"it's only a temporary blackout," kageyama said.

"ah, crap, i need something," she said, turning her phone off as she proceeded to get off the bed.

as she began walking towards her bed, she slipped on kageyama's textbook and fell straight into kageyama's lap.

"ow!"

"oof!"

she winced as her chest hit him directly in the knee, and he cringed in pain as she accidentally elbowed him in the ribs.

"your leg is so goddamn hard!" she whined as she proceeded to get up.

"well, your elbow hurts like hell!" he retorted.

qq slumped back on the bed. clearing her work and stationery out of the way, she spread her limbs out like a jellyfish and gave out a long yawn.

kageyama remained silent as he moved over to lean his back against the bed post.

there was silence in the air, which was rather unusual. there was only the sound of movement behind him.

what was she doing?

when the lights finally turned back on, kageyama turned around to see her sleeping on his bed. slowly, he pulled the blankets over her, then placing a kiss on her head rather hesitantly.

suddenly, her eyes opened and looked straight at him. shit, he was caught.

she sat up and pecked his cheek.

"oyasuminasai, tobio-chan," she said.

("oyasuminasai" means "good night")

"o-oyasuminsai, boke," he muttered.
