the two were sleeping on the same bed, and having equal space for each of them respectively.

in the middle of the night, qq abandoned her bolster and spread her limbs out like a starfish, hitting kageyama smack in the face.

kageyama frowned and removed her hand off his face gently. he rolled over to face her, contemplating whether or not to sleep on the sofa instead.

suddenly, she rolled over and pressed her face on his shoulder and wrapped her arms and legs around his upper body and waist, like a koala. he blushed furiously and proceeded to wrap his arms around her.

as he began to drift to sleep, she woke up and realised the awkward position they were in. she started to shift and tried to wriggle out of his grasp, but he growled and tightened his hold around her more. so she had no choice but to give up and fall asleep wrapped in his arms.

extended ending:

the sunlight streamed in from the open window, making the two stir. they opened their eyes slowly and looked at each other in the eye.

"ano..." qq said as she started to move, wanting to wriggle out of his iron-like grip.

"i... i want to stay like this for a while longer," he said, tugging her shirt while still holding her in his grasp.

she turned red and proceeded to lie back down again, before closing her eyes.

silently contented, he hugged her close to him and laid his head on top of hers.

he had managed to find a new secret hobby that he would do at night only.
