"Are you excited?" Michael asked, and Luke placed his hands in his lap, and looked up at Michael, smiling so big that Michael could see every tooth, and that made him smile in return.
"Alright, good luck. Don't worry. He's gonna love you." Michael told him.
"How do you know that?" Luke asked.
"You're Luke. Everyone loves you." He said, and the younger boy smiled again.
"Now, I'm gonna get back to work. He should be showing up any second, and seeing the boy you're about to go on a date with talking to another guy is kind of a turn off for most people, so I'll talk to you later." Michael said, and Luke waved as he walked back behind the counter.
Michael smiled as he saw Luke looking out of the windows. He looked so beautiful in his striped shirt. He always looks beautiful to Michael. He wishes he was the one to ask Luke out first but he always chickened out.
Michael looked up at the clock and saw it was 6:50. Luke's date was 20 minutes late, but he wouldn't hold it against him even though Luke is a princess and shouldn't have to wait.
Michael fixed Luke's favorite hot chocolate and walked over to him with the big mug in his hands.
"He's just running a little late. He should be here any second." Luke said as Michael sat the drink down.
"He will be here. Don't worry, Luke. Maybe he just lost track of time." Michael said and patted Luke's back before he walked away.

Michael sighed as he hung up his apron.
He looked back to the table and saw Luke sitting there, the brightness in his eyes completely gone.
"He's not coming is he?" Luke asked, and Michael sighed.
"4 hours late. It's closing time." Michael told him and Luke's bottom lip trembled as he looked down.
Michael sat down beside Luke in the booth and scooted really close so Luke was up against the wall.
"Don't cry. It's his loss." Michael said and wiped Luke's tears as they fell. "I feel sorry for him. He doesn't know what a beautiful, funny, sweet guy he's missing out on."
Luke smiled a little and wiped his eyes with the backs of his hands.
Michael smiled when he felt Luke tangle their hands together.
"Luke, don't let him take your pretty smile away. You're a princess and you don't deserve to be treated like that. If I were him I would've shown up an hour early just to make sure you're not left waiting." Michael laughed, but that really made Luke smile.
Luke pulled Michael's black tie, pulling him closer.
Michael's forehead was pressed against Luke's and he was so nervous. His lips were so close to Luke's and he was having a really difficult time trying to keep from staring at them.
"I'm a princess?" Luke asked, and innocently bit on his pointer finger nail and he looked up at Michael through his lashes. Michael quickly nodded, keeping his eyes locked on Luke's baby blue ones.
"Kiss me." Luke whispered.
Michael looked up to see if he really heard Luke right. When the blonde boy nodded, Michael pressed his lips against Luke's.
They pulled back after a few seconds, and Luke smiled up at Michael.
"I'm really happy that he never showed up." Luke said, and Michael nodded in agreement.
"If he ever calls you again, Luke, please don't answer. I want you so bad. I want you to be mine." Michael told him.
"I've always been yours. We're just finally realizing it."
