Luke ran to the door as soon as he heard it open.
"Mikey!" Luke squealed, and hugged the older boy.
Michael didn't hug back, instead he just gently pushed by him.
Luke followed Michael to the kitchen, and watched his boyfriend pull out his laptop.
Luke sat on the bar stood beside him, and held onto his arm as he typed.
"College seems hard." Luke said. He was still in his senior year of high school, but Michael was already in his second year of college.
"Yeah, please go in there or something." Michael said softly.
"But I've missed you all day.." Luke laughed, laying on Michael's shoulder.
The older boy sighed, and Luke played with the bracelets on Michael's wrist. It was really distracting, and would sometimes cause Michael to hit the wrong buttons which got a little frustrating.
"Hey, Luke? I'll be done in about 30 minutes. How about you go on up to bed, and I'll be up there soon, okay?" Michael asked, and Luke shook his head, holding on tighter to Michael.
"Luke, I'm really losing my patience." Michael said, and Luke didn't listen. Michael always gives in first.
"I wanna stay-"
"Luke, go!" Michael spat. He didn't want to sound mean, but he was just so frustrated. "I'm trying my hardest just to pass this class and you're not helping at all!"
Luke stood up, a frown on his face as Michael continued to talk.
"I just-"
"I know what you want, Luke! It's always about what you want! Leave me the hell alone!" Michael yelled, but Luke kept standing there, staring at Michael.
"What's the issue?!" Michael yelled as a tear fell from Luke's eye.
"You've never yelled at me before." Luke whispered.
He noticed Michael's stern expression leave his face, but he didn't stick around any longer. He turned and quickly walked away from the kitchen.
Michael sighed as Luke left the room. He felt awful. Luke did not deserve to be yelled at.
Michael walked towards their bedroom, and his guilt increased as he saw Luke sitting on the edge of the bed with his head in his hands.
"Luke..." Michael whispered, and the younger boy looked up. His red eyes made Michael frown. "....I'm not here to yell at you. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have spoken to you like that."
"It just scared me.." Luke whispered, wiping his eyes with the back of his hand.
Michael sat down and hugged Luke to him.
"I'm so sorry." He whispered into Luke's hair, holding him tight.
Michael laid Luke down, and proceeded to lay down also. His chest was pressed to Luke's back, and his hands were locked with Luke's.
"I know I frustrate you sometimes. I'm clingy and I'm annoying, but I'm only like that because I love you and I miss you when you're not here." Luke whispered, kissing Michael's hand that was laying beside his head.
"I love all of that about you. I shouldn't let my temper get the best of me. You did nothing wrong. You're prefect, Luke."
