"good morning, beautiful,"luke smiled a little bit, and wiped his eyes.
"come here and kiss me." luke mumbled, opening his eyes.
he started scooting over to luke, but he stopped and furrowed his eyebrows.
michael pushed the blanket down, and laughed a little when he saw a pair of tiny feet near the top of the bed.
luke laughed, and sat up, smiling at his little son who was trying his best not to laugh.
"i know you are not asleep, logan."
the little boy giggled, and sat up, crawling into luke's arms. michael propped himself up on his elbow, and smiled down at the four year old snuggled under luke's arm.
"what are you doing in here, curly?" michael asked, making the little boy laugh as he ruffled his curls.
"nothing!" he laughed, and michael leaned down, pressing a kiss to his forehead.
"what's my little princess gonna do today?" luke asked, and poked logans stomach. he had on a pink tinker bell shirt, and a little pair of grey shorts.
"i'm gonna watch brave, and then we're gonna play princess, and then we can eat macaroni and cuddle, right?" he asked, looking up at the both of them.
"of course." michael said, and they both smiled when they saw logan smile.
he has a hard time at school with kids making fun of him, so michael and luke made sure to make the weekend all about him.
"wait- wait no." he said, and luke looked down at him.
"we can do boy stuff today, like- like play football, and watch monster trucks-"
"baby, girls do that stuff too." michael said, and he frowned a little.
"yeah, but boys don't play princess." he said, and shook his head.
"they can if they want, sweetheart." luke said, and logan huffed.
"the boys at school don't."
"who cares? if you like to play princess, than do it." michael told him.
"i care because all of the pretty boys call me lame and ugly." he whispered.
"but you know that you are not lame and ugly. you know that you are absolutely beautiful." luke said, and logan groaned.
"you have to say that, but you don't know it! look dad, you have a beard! you're a real boy! and you- you're big and strong and-"
"baby, calm down.." michael whispered when he saw tears in his son's eyes.
"you guys are real boys. i'm- i'm not."
-
"logan! time for school!"
the little boy groaned, and walked down the stairs. he had his little pink dress on. he knew he was going to get made fun of for it, but he really wanted to wear it.
logans sad face turned into a bright smile when he saw his dads in the kitchen.
luke had on a lavender dress with his usual converse, and michael wore a pink shirt to match his new, pink hair.
"you're- you're like me." logan whispered, running his hand over the fabric of luke's dress.
logan smiled, and ran over to michael, jumping into his arms.
"look at your dad. doesn't he look so beautiful?" michael asked, and logan nodded. "he's a real boy, and he's in a dress, see? he looks so, so pretty."
luke blushed and walked over.
"and look how handsome your dad is. he's wearing pink, and he's still a boy." luke said, and logan smiled.
"do i look pretty, too?" logan asked.
"you look absolutely beautiful."
logan smiled, and they both pressed a kiss to his cheek.
"see? you can be a boy and wear whatever you want, and girls can be girls and wear whatever they want."
"i love you, dads."
"we love you so much more."
