little!luke
"daddy, i'm hungry!"
luke nervously walked into the kitchen, wearing one of michael's big shirts and his long socks.
luke and michael just recently moved in together, and michael didn't realize how much he had to learn about luke still.
"alright, baby. how about a grilled cheese?" michael asked.
"what kind of cheese?" luke asked.
"just the little packaged kind." michael said and shrugged, causing luke to shake his head.
"cereal?" michael asked.
"i don't like milk that much." luke said, and sat down.
"sandwich?"
luke shook his head, and michael playfully groaned.
"soup?"
"no."
"waffles?"
"no."
"tacos?"
"nope."
"is there anything you like?"
luke smiled a bit, and shrugged. "i like mac and cheese."
"finally." michael said, and pulled out a box of kraft macaroni.
"but i don't want it right now."
michael looked over at luke and sat the box down. "baby, you might just have to starve if you can't tell me what you want."
"no i'm hungry!" luke whined as he felt himself becoming grumpy.
"don't whine." michael said, and pulled out a box of pop tarts.
luke shook his head, and his eyes filled with tears. "i'm so hungry!"
"baby, calm down you're okay. just tell me what you want." michael said, and luke wiped his eyes.
"i don't know!"
"fine... how about animal crackers?" michael asked, and luke's head peeked up.
"the ones with the pink frosting and the- the little sprinkles?"
"of course. i wouldn't give you anything less, baby." michael said, relieved luke found something he might want.
luke nodded, and michael smiled, reaching into the cabinet to pull out the cute little bag with luke's favorite animal crackers.
he poured some into a bowl and slid it over to luke.
"no!" luke said, and michael sighed, looking over at him. "you didn't take the kitties out! i don't like to eat the kitties!"
"i'm sorry, princess." michael said, and walked over to luke, reaching over his shoulder to take out all of the cat animal crackers.
"thank you, daddy."
"you're welcome, baby."
luke picked up a giraffe cracker, and pressed its head to michael's cheek. luke made a 'mwah' sound, making the giraffe kiss michael's cheek.
"i luva you, daddy."
"i love you, too."
