long little!luke one shot
"now tell me what you're going to do?" michael asked.
"i'm going to stay in our room until daddy comes and gets me because he has an important meeting downstairs." luke said, and michael kissed his forehead.
"perfect." michael said, and luke smiled, jumping back onto the bed.
they've only been living together for about a month or so, and michael was still getting used to luke being little sometimes.
"good luck, daddy." luke said, and michael smiled as he started to leave the room.
"i love you baby."
michael walked down the stairs just in time for his possible client to show up.
he was a realtor, and there was potential for a big client, but she wanted to meet michael before selling her property with him. this was their third meeting, and he was going to have it at his house for a more casual setting.
"hi, michael, it's so good to see you again." she said, and michael took her coat, hanging it up.
"you too. if you want to, you can follow me to the kitchen and we can get started." michael said with a smile, and she did just that.
"let me just run to the next room and get my log book." he said as she nodded.
"okay, yes. take your time."
she sat quietly and patiently until she heard a soft 'psst' come from behind her.
she turned around, and saw a skinny, blonde boy dressed in pink run into the room.
he hopped up on the stool beside her, and she confusingly smiled.
"hi!" luke chirped.
"hi. are you one of michael's friends?" she asked.
"yes. he's my daddy. he's been really excited about selling your house so i just wanted to meet you." luke said, and she furrowed her eyebrows, but not in a mean way.
"you said michael is your...?"
"my daddy. he takes care of me. he told me not to come down here, but i couldn't help it. i'm just so curious. he sells a lot of houses, but he's never been so excited before. i just want to know why."
she smiled a little, kind of infatuated with luke. she thought he was adorable.
"do you wanna see why?" she asked, and slid over pictures of her house.
"wow! you live in a princess castle." luke whispered, looking at the pictures. it was just a big house, not necessarily a castle, but luke was mesmerized.
she smiled as luke looked at all of the pictures in amazement.
"what is michael like?" she asked, and luke looked up.
she knew the business side of michael, but she wanted to know what kind of person he was before she works with him. luke would be the perfect one to describe him.
"he's the best. he's always so nice, and he's so funny. one time we didn't have a lot of money, and daddy wouldn't eat until i was full because he's not selfish at all. he's never mean, and sometimes i'm afraid he works too hard because he always has to take care of me, and do his adult work, and he's tired a lot, but he does it all. i love him so so much." luke said, and she smiled as michael walked back into the room.
michael didn't know what to think of luke sitting there with the biggest client he's ever had.
"luke, what are you doing down here?" michael asked.
