Will smiled as he felt the water surround him. The lake was cool and the summer heat made it feel even nicer. He looked around. Finding a flat stone, he skipped it across the water. He did that a few more times until one of the stones was skipped back to him. He looked up to see a face in the water. When he saw it, it dove back under. He watched to see if it would resurface again. He was honestly terrified. I mean, think about it, a face suddenly peering at you from the water? Kinda scary. The peeping tom rose up again but quickly dove back down as soon as it made eye contact. Will scrambled back. He had no idea what the thing was. He stood up and threw a rock where its head was. A yelp and an 'ow' was heard before the thing threw the rock back, hitting Will in the face. "Ow! That hurt!" The thing resurfaced. "Really? I didn't think I threw it that hard... I'm sorry." Will looked up, holding his bruised cheek. It looked... human. Other than a few scales here and there and some fins for ears. Then again, he only saw the head. Who knows what the rest of it could look like.

Will watched, cautious, as the creature in the water swam closer. It was close enough the it could reach out and touch Will's bruised cheek, which it did. Will winced as its fingers brushed over the purple mark. It winced too. "I am really sorry. I never actually wanted to hurt you with it, let alone hit you," it apologized. It leaned back. Will gulped as he noticed the sharp teeth, revealed when it talked, and the knife-like claws. It took notice and slunk back into the water. It stayed there though, as if waiting for Will to give him the signal to leave. He never did, so it never left. Will cleared his throat. "So...—" "Are you a human?!" Will jumped at the sudden outburst. "Uhh... Yeah..." The smile on its face was exited. "I'm Dipper! Nice to meet you! What's your name?" Will was taken aback. "Err... Will. I'm Will... iam Cipher." Dipper smiled sweetly. "William. Will. That's nice," he let the name rolled off his tongue. Will smiled. "Thanks, but that name's really common so..." Dipper liked it anyways. "Why should that matter? It's nice because it seems to suit you. Welp, nice to know you Will, but I gotta go!" Will looked a little disappointed, so Dipper told him to meet him there tomorrow. Will, being his curious self, agreed so that he could learn more about Dipper.
