"King Will?" "Hm?" "We've brought him." Will smiled. "Great. You may leave now." The servants bowed their heads and hurried out of the room. Will sighed and looked down at the cervitaur that he ordered them to bring. "Took long enough," the human/deer hybrid said, "I was worried you forgot about me." Will shook his head and got up off of his throne. "Dipper, I could never forget you. You're the closest friend I have." He stared into the cervitaur's eyes for a moment. They held an intelligence and understanding of the world that would have taken far beyond the creature's time on Earth to gain. He smiled and hugged Dipper. "It's so hard, being king. It doesn't feel right." Dipper touched his lips to the side of Will's head. It was a kiss, but at the same time, it wasn't. "I can understand that. I wish you would stop leaving me in the stables though. I'm not a horse, and I'm half human," he said, slightly irritated. Will nuzzled his neck. "Only if you take up my offer~," he sang. Dipper mumbled something under his breath. "It wouldn't be accepted by the people. Just m—" "I am not marrying that girl from the island kingdom! I want you!," he complained, groaning. Dipper blushed lightly. "I see you're pretty fixed on marrying me instead of a female human." Will growled and said, "I can change the damn laws here. You will be accepted. Will you please just take up my offer?" Dipper sighed, sensing the kings protectiveness over him. He pulled away from the hug they were in. "I trust you enough to believe that you know what you're doing, but if it means that I can support you better, I suppose I'll accept your offer." Will grinned the first real grin he had in a long time. "Well, then lets go to our room and talk more. I'll see to it that everyone knows about you." Dipper snorted. "Rather proud of me, are you?" Will grinned. "I'm going to show you off to the whole world, my deer." Dipper face-palmed. "Can I just take a nap now? Your bed looks comfortable." Will only just now realized that they reached their room. "Only if you let me join you," he said smoothly. Dipper laid down on the bed, and Will got in next to him, pulling the comforters up over them. He cuddled up against the cervitaur's underbelly and pet the soft fur there. Dipper played with Will's hair, eyes closed, awaiting sleep. Once Will could tell that he was peacefully resting, the king took off any extra clothing and cuddled up closer to him. He slept easy that night, excited for tomorrow, the day he would be making some special arrangements.
