Terrible hand-drawn picture I made BEFORE someone requested this chapter. If you somehow like this, go check out my art book that I haven't updated in a while! I'll include this in it as well as a few other pictures soon because I'm trying out a new art style.
Requested by a friend.
Will was walking his usual route, following the sidewalk. It was a moderately sunny day, yet he was thinking up a storm. He still couldn't get over what happened. Furrowing his brow, he walked at a faster pace. Suddenly, he bumped into someone. At first, he looked up, an apology on the tip of his tongue until he saw who it was. "Oh, I was just looking for you," said the tall male he bumped into. Mumbling something to himself, the gray-brown-haired man added, "Sorry about that, by the way." It was said without any emotion. Will internally sighed, not believing that he was actually going to talk to this sociopath after what they did. "It's alright, Gleeful." Tyrone scoffed. "Don't be like that. Would you like it if I just referred to you as 'Cipher'? It would get pretty annoying wouldn't it?," he paused, expecting an answer. When nothing was said in reply, he snorted, then continued, "Anyhow, I was looking for you because I need you to do me a favor." Will rolled his eyes. "What?," he asked begrudgingly. "You loved me once, right? Well, then do this one little thing for me. You know some stuff about flowers. I want you to get me some for Paz." Will internally sneered. "Fine," he said, "But you'll never know what you get." Tyrone growled. "All I need is something pretty. She knows a lot about what flowers mean, so if you can make a message with them." Will sighed. "Whatever. I'll go to the flower shop. You're lucky I pass it on my daily walk." Tyrone simply nodded and walked off in the direction from which he came. Will growled slightly and made his way to the flower shop.
I cheery little ring resounded as Will opened the door. Will knew it was common for these types of shops to have small bells in the doors, but sometimes he found it annoying. He walked over to the rose bouquets, knowing that every color of rose meant something positive. He sighed, looking around. He looked over at the yellow ones. New beginnings. He sniffed. He wished he could just get over his previous relationship with Gleeful. He really did. Yet he couldn't. Because he knew he wouldn't be able to start over the way the older man had. Tyrone broke his trust. It hurt him so deeply. And now, here he was, crying over a flower that meant new beginnings. He picked up a bouquet of yellow, red, and white roses. Together, yellow and red meant happiness. White and red meant unity. Separately, however, red meant love, passion, beauty, courage, and respect. White meant purity, innocence, yet also silence and secrecy. Not to mention heavenly. He scoffed at himself. The yellow meant joy, delight, welcome back, and new beginnings. He clutched the bouquet tightly, an overwhelming feeling over anger, sadness, and embarrassment filling him to the brim with tears begging to be shed. He knew he was crying, and he didn't give a fuck. He wanted to look like an idiot. Why? Simply because that's what he felt he was. An idiot. He tensed as he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Are you okay?," a gentle voice asked. Boy, it's been a long time since he heard a voice as gentle as this one. He turned around and saw a rather cute brunet giving him a look of concerned curiosity. There was pity, too, but it looked like he was trying to hide it, as if he knew it could possibly offend the shorter of the two. Will sighed through the tears, then set down the bouquet. "To be honest, no," came out in a hoarse whisper, followed by dry laughter. The brunet moved his hand to Will's back. "There's a room in back if you need privacy. I'm the one who owns this place, so it's not like you could get in trouble for it." Will gave him a surprised look, yet he still had some tears running down his cheeks. "Y-You're a florist?" One side of the brunet's mouth turned up in a small grin. "Yep," he said, suddenly chipper, "The name's Dipper." Will smiled softly; his crying had lessened down to only a few tears here and there. "I'm Will." Dipper bowed. "Pleasure to meet you, sir." Will laughed. "Funny," he said, rolling his eyes. Dipper stood up straight again. "So, why did you come here only to cry at the sight of happy unity?," Dipper asked curiously. "Well...," Will began. Sighing, he decided to just tell the friendly florist what happened. "So, I used to have this boyfriend. His name... uh, nevermind, I don't want to bring him into this. Anyways, he broke up with me just a few days ago. B... B-Before he did though, the day before... He beat me and called me useless. Then, he made me watch as he banged some girl I didn't even know existed before. That's who he's with now. And... I ran into him today. He asked me to buy some flowers that he could give to her. He's still been having me do shit for him. I'm honestly just too much of a coward to stand up to him." Dipper gave him a thoughtful look for a few moments after he finished the story. Finally, a grin broke out on his face. "I have the perfect bouquet of flowers for that bitch."
