   Well, things were going splendidly for Dipper today. He turned into a deer-thing (a cervitaur, he corrected himself), his sister got caught by Bill, the local hunter, and he was now fading in and out of consciousness as he was caught in a trap with a man with unusual blue hair sedating him. It's sure to get better as well! As the drugs finally took over, Dipper saw the human undo the trap and felt careful arms slip around him, lifting him up onto something metal.

   Once he came to, Dipper immediately felt a prodding near his belly. He looked down and saw the human poking his stomach and squeezing it here and there. Dipper was still too influenced by the drugs to make an attempt at escape, so he moved to let the man know he was awake. Electric blue eyes met his and for a second he saw surprise and a slight trace of fear mingling within the depths of the other's eyes until they looked back down and lifted up his legs. He almost kicked the man in the face right there, but couldn't. The human's grip was firm and when he tried to move his legs he didn't get very far. The human closed his legs as soon as he opened them and proceeded like he didn't just invade Dipper's personal personal space. Dipper winced at the slight pinprick of a needle and saw the man take his blood. He let a shiver pass through him and the human patted his rump as though trying to reassure him it was okay. 'Yeah, right. This guy's definitely gonna kill me.' All of a sudden, the man got up and, after putting all of his stuff away, walked up to Dipper, holding out his hand to shake. Dipper, though physically exhausted, got up and slowly reached for the human's hand. He held it as though it were more fragile than glass and carefully shook it. The man noticed and smiled softly at him, which honestly made Dipper even more scared. The human ruffled his hair then retrieved a bowl from another table and handed it to Dipper. It was some sort of food, Dipper believed. The human watched him in interest as he carefully ate the meal. Once he was done, he felt a sensation that he never hoped to feel again in his nose. He sneezed, sounding like a kitten, as always. He human chuckled softly and started petting Dipper's ears. Dipper gave in just like that and leaned into it, eyes closed. He could hear the man hum, and to his surprise, he wanted to hear more. It soothed him. "Do you have a name?," the human asked. "Dipper," Dipper responded quietly, not giving any sort of fight to keep the information secret—like he usually did—, realizing that the human probably knew everything about him now. The human smiled. "I'm William." Dipper hummed in response. "I like Will better. Hello, Mr. Will—" "Cipher." "—Cipher. Wait, Cipher?" Will nodded, confused. "Why? Is that name known to you?" Dipper shook. "B-Bill..." "Oh..." Dipper stared at Will, who had moved onto the weird table with him and was petting his soft belly fur. Dipper flicked his ears and asked, "Are you related?" Will slowly nodded and buried his face into Dipper's underbelly. "We're brothers," he responded, voice muffled. Dipper felt his stomach flip. "A-Are you going to kill me?" Will started, bolting out of position. "No! I would never do that! You're special! And besides, I'm a conservationist/vet, not a poacher!" Dipper stared, slowly letting relief wash over him. "O-Okay," he choked out. He curled up around Will. "S-So when you were doing all that stuff...?" "I was checking to make sure you were healthy." Dipper felt a sudden guilt consume him. "Sorry...," he whispered, on the brink of tears. Will sighed and shook his head, hugging Dipper's human half. "A little sensitive, are we?" Dipper sniffed. ""Y-Yeah...," he responded. Will gripped him tighter. "Well, I guess I'll just have to take extra-good care of you. I hope you understand that you won't get anywhere in the forest the way you are." Dipper nodded and whimpered. It's not like his sister needed him right now anyways, right?
