Prompt: "You've heard of the borrowers? Well this is kinda like that. So Dipper fell into a portal and ends up tiny in the gleefuls house. He sees will get torchered but is too afraid to say anything. But then will finds him trying to get some food and from that point on he tries to protect him? But then one of the evil twins finds out?"

——————————

Dipper woke up with a start, his head throbbing. His mind was fuzzy, and he barely remembered what was going on. He held the side of his head in one hand as he used the other to push himself up from his position on the ground.

Looking around, Dipper immediately noticed one thing: Everything was way larger than it should have been. He almost started freaking out, but quickly realized that this could very well be a dream. The house had a semi-familiar feel to it, like those that you're mind typically creates, and a few pictures around the room displayed what looked to be odd versions of his family.

This made Dipper relax a bit, but he allowed himself to remain a little uneasy. He wasn't completely sure about his theory and he didn't want to find out it was wrong by getting stepped on or something. Whoever the people in the pictures were, they were probably around somewhere, and the thought made him anxious. Judging by the way they looked— their expressions were cold and the clothes they wore gave him a negative feeling— they were not friendly.

Just then, the brunet looked up to see a large door in front of him. Gulping, he quickly determined from the shoes and jackets next to it that it was the front door. Deciding it would be better if he were far away from it, Dipper headed deeper into the room, which appeared to be the lounge. Not uncommon for it to be connected to the entryway.

At first, Dipper walked right out in the open, not bothering with making an effort to avoid getting caught. However, he soon took to moving from hiding spot to hiding spot after hearing yelling from somewhere below his feet. There must be some sort of cellar or basement.

Dipper scrambled into a dark whole in the wall as soon as he heard someone stomping up what he assumed to be stairs to the lower level. Whoever was down there was coming up to his level.

The brunet froze, trying to calm his breathing as to not make a sound when a man came into view, running for the door. He reached out for the handle, then quickly retracted his hand, holding it up to stare at it with a look of shock and hopelessness on his face. Focusing hard on that hand, Dipper realized that the handle had burnt the poor dude. How? The metal didn't look hot at all, certainly not enough to leave that kind of mark so quickly.

He didn't have the time to dwell on it, as a woman suddenly appeared from the direction the man came from and attached a chain to the shackles around his wrists. Dipper wondered how he didn't notice them there before. The woman scowled and kicked the other in the shin, then again in the head as he fell to the floor in pain. The helpless man just curled up into a ball, holding his head in his hands as though to protect it, and let the woman beat him without any resistance.

Dipper felt his gut clench in sorrow as he watched. The man cried out in agony when the woman dug her heels into his face, and he continued to cry as she yelled at him.

"I let you go for one second, William, and you think it's a good idea to run?! You know we wouldn't just let the house stay unprotected. Absolute dumbass. So useless you can't even try to escape properly."
