Based off of an AU that I'm working on where Dipper is evil and shit and Will's kinda there because they're friends and he's all like, "What the fuck are you doing? I know you're better than this," and Dipper's just sitting there like, "Oof, okay. Sorry, babe, I'll stop... In like a week," and then kills everyone and finally cuts his shit.

Dipper stared down at the crowds of people. Shadow creatures of all types were slaughtering them. Screams of pain and the shrieks and howls of the beasts as they tore open their prey rang through the air. His sister sat next to him, laughing her head off.

"Look at all those poor fools," she mused cruelly, "Bloody and broken. Their futures cut short. Now they know how we felt." Dipper nodded, silently agreeing with his sister. That was what this was about. Mabel went insane and killed her lover as revenge for the shit he's pulled behind her back, and he blotted out the sun with the moon and unleashed these beasts upon the world to get revenge for all the years of being abused and invisible. All the pain and resentment. And then when they cursed him and turned them into a monster. It was satisfying to finally see the pain they caused him exacted upon themselves. He smirked. For once in his miserable life, he actually felt satisfied. At peace, almost. But not quite. Something was still missing.

Dipper thought back to all of those times he felt lonely. Extremely lonely. Having people pretend you didn't even exist only worsened the pain of being alone. He wanted to be loved. He wished there was someone who actually cared about him. He just wanted someone else's affection. He did find that, but only for a short while. Dipper left the one he loved to do this. 'That must be what's missing,' he thought, 'I miss him. But do I regret leaving to do this? I can't tell...'

Dipper sighed, getting up from his position laying down. Glancing over at his sister who was happily watching the suffering below, he guessed that she'd be able to entertain herself while he took a nap.

Entering the cave they were holding out in, he paced around a few times before finding a nice spot to settle. Laying down, he curled up into a ball, looking out the mouth of the cave. It was located on top of the cliff that they usually sit in the edge of to watch the chaos they've created. The outline of his sister was still visible. He could just barely make out the wide grin on her face and the crazed expression in her eyes. He drew his ears back, feeling a pang of sadness. He missed the Mabel he knew and loved. He knew this one still loved him, but... he hated seeing his sister like this. Insane. It hurt.

Dipper looked down at his hands. Or should I say claws. His entire forearm was black on both arms, and his hands had sharp nails that one would consider claws. He looked over his shoulder at his lower half. His feet were the same way. He also had a tail that swished back and forth occasionally. Laying his head back down, he could still feel the weight of the horns on his head that accompanied his furred, bull-like ears. Except they were fluffy, as Mabel constantly pointed out whenever she was laying next to him, running her fingers through his hair. He smiled. He knew she loved him, and that's all that really mattered to him now. Happy with his thoughts, he closed his eyes and drifted off.

When Dipper found himself in a black void, he was a little surprised. He usually found himself in a white void when he was lucid dreaming. His brow furrowed. Someone must have brought him here.

"Observant as always," a smooth, yet high-pitched voice rang out from behind him. He whirled around, the hairs on the pack of his neck standing up. He had his teeth bared in a snarl, his ears were flat against his head, and his tail thrashed from side to side angrily. Whoever the hell brought him here better explain themselves quick. In his frightened rage, he didn't instantly recognize the voice, and only calmed down a bit when he saw who it was that spoke.

Dipper was still on the defense, though, glaring warily at the other demon. "Wh-What do you want, Will? I-I thought I told you that you couldn't stop me... And you still can't!," he growled. Will tilted his head, observing him for a moment, before sighing.

"I missed you," he finally said. Dipper felt his body loosen up a bit more at the statement.

"... You did?"

"Yeah," came back the reply.

"... Oh."

Dipper stood there, hesitant. He didn't know what he was supposed to say. However, he didn't have to say anything, as Will spoke up again.

"You're better than this, you know that?," Will asked sadly, "I know you are. You're so much better." Dipper scoffed.

"Really? You don't know me at all! You don't know how much pain I constantly am in! How good it feels to see those monsters get torn apart by the very beings I unleashed upon them!," he spat. Will flinched. Dipper felt a pang of guilt, but tried his best to hide it.

Will saw the pain in the other's eyes when he flinched, though. And it made him sad. The poor thing was just so unstable at the moment, unable to control their emotions, constantly attacking at the slightest hint of being attacked. He felt so guilty for not doing better for him. For not trying to understand him more or not giving him the environment he needed in order to finally be stable and at peace.

"But I do know you, Dipper. And I know what you've went through. I've been trying to help and understand what made you this way. You truly didn't deserve this. You could have lived a normal life, just as you have always wanted. One that doesn't require you being an immortal beast. You say you're a monster. I can tell you that that's not true though," Will told him, "You don't have to be a monster to be what you are. You're just special. Not a monster. Not some evil villain out to destroy the world."

Dipper looked at Will, feeling lost. What did he get himself into? He whimpered, lowering himself to the ground and pulling his knees up to his face. He could hear footsteps and feel the warm body that pressed against his back and wrapped their arms around his waist. He sniffled, feeling tears gather in his eyes. Will rested his head on his shoulder.

"Hush, love. Don't cry. It's alright," the bluenet soothed, "I can help you. You just need to stop all this nonsense. I know you're scared and confused, and most of all angry. I know you've been hurt— I have too. You just need to stay strong. Hold on to your heart, don't let it get broken or turned dark. Just fix what you've done and I promise I'll provide you with the life you wanted for so long. A calm one that doesn't involve constant pain or anger. No more fighting and monsters. Just us."

Dipper looked over his shoulder at Will. He stared at him for a few moments, just gazing into the other's saddened eyes. Finally, he shifted, turning himself around to face Will. Then, he surprised the other by crawling into his lap and burying his head in the crook of his neck.

"Promise?," he asked pitifully. Will frowned at how sad his voice sounded. "I promise," he said softly, holding the brunet tightly. He heard the other sniff, then a soft kiss getting pressed against his lips. He smiled softly into it, happily kissing back.

"Then I'll put a halt to this. To everything. Mabel might not like it, but... hopefully she'll be able to regain her sanity and see why it needed to stop," Dipper declared gently. Will smiled at him, dipping his head for a few moments, then meeting his gaze once again.

"I knew you'd make the right choice," he said, "I'll be waiting for you once this is all over. I promise I'll make you happy."

Dipper smiled right back at him. "I'll see you soon then," he said in a soft, loving manner. Only after pressing a few goodbye kisses to the bluenet's neck and jaw did he get up, ready to reenter the waking world and put a stop to all the madness he created.

"See you soon, love," Will replied, happy. He could help him this time, he was sure of it. He could protect him. He could keep him calm and content. All he needed was for the other to give him the opportunity, to let him in. And since he just did, Will couldn't wait to show Dipper just how much he cared for and wanted him happy.
