Will came back the next day, bringing along his backpack. He sat down at the edge of the pond and pulled out a granola bar to snack on. He always tried to eat healthy, unlike the rest of his family.

Splash! Will looked up and saw Dipper's face peering at him from the water. He smiled and waved. Dipper did the same then swam over to Will. "How are you?," Dipper asked with a sweet smile. Will looked around and shrugged. "I just came here to visit you." Dipper's shoulders moved up and down in a giggle. He grabbed Will's foot and dragged him into the water. He stopped pulling when the water reached Will's waist. Will flinched at the cold and glared at Dipper, crossing his arms. "That wasn't very nice," he pouted. Dipper laughed and sat beside Will in the water. He flicked some water at Will's face, shouting, "Well, I'm not that nice!" Will shook his head. "I highly doubt that." Dipper's expression turned dark. "I kill people, Will. I eat people. That's not nice at all." Will gulped and hesitated before grabbing Dipper's hand and examining his claws. Dipper watched with a blank expression. Will kissed each claw and said, "I trust you, Dipper. I... I'm not scared of you..." Dipper glanced at his face. Will looked at him and they caught each other's eye for a moment. Dipper looked back at the clawed hand Will had kissed and he made a small, unrecognizable noise. Will's eyes flitted between Dipper's face and his hand, nervous. Then, Dipper turned and wrapped his arms around Will's waist. "Thank you," he breathed. Will smiled softly. "No problem." Dipper looked up at him. They stared at each other for a minute before Dipper quickly kissed Will's cheek then dive into the water. Will stared after him, lightly fazed. He shook his head to snap out of the trance he was in. Standing up and brushing himself off, Will grabbed his backpack and set on the trail back home.
