   It's really not that special.

Mabel looked over at Dipper, her arms crossed.

"And what are you dressed up as?," she asked him, raising a brow. Dipper shrugged, looking down at his all-black clothing.

"I'm a black crayon," he said, looking over at the two other people in the room.

Will shook his head, laughing quietly to himself. "At least he's trying, even if it's just a little bit," he offered. Mabel sighed.

"I suppose so."

Dipper watched as Will timidly walked up the path to the house. After seeing the poor guy jump when a decoration sprang to life, he decided he would walk with him.

"You... didn't have to do that," the shorter of the two mumbled. He glanced up at the brunet with a slight blush on his face. Dipper looked down at their joined hands and simply said, "Nonsense."

Mabel snickered, watching as Dipper pulled Will away from every "scary" decoration they saw. Will, embarrassed by his behavior, squawked and whined every time, insisting that this really wasn't necessary. But Dipper kept on doing it. No. Matter. What.

After Will finally started to actually get annoyed by what Dipper was doing, he noticed that the other kept glancing at him and around them every now and again. He sighed, realizing what was going on.

"You forgot to take them? On Halloween?," he confronted the brunet, catching up to him and matching his pace. Dipper glanced at him, seemed to thing for a moment, then made a poker face.

"Maybe," was all he said. Will gave him a frustrated glare, but after receiving an apologetic look from the other teen, sighed and pressed against his side.

"Dipper, you know how bad your paranoia gets in situations like this one," he reasoned softly. The look he got in return was sheepish.

"I didn't think it would be that bad..."

"Dipper."

The teen looked down at his feet. Will eyes him for a few moments, wondering what could possibly be going on in the brunet's head at the moment. Suddenly, Mabel ran up to them. Both jumped, forgetting that she was with them, and shared a look of confusion, not knowing where she went or why.

"Guys, the place down the street is giving out massive candy bars!," she panted, eyes glittering with excitement. Dipper gave Will a look, causing the bluenet to chuckle, shaking his head.

"Well, lead the way then, I guess."

Mabel was jumping up and down in excitement. Dipper kept giving her these uneasy looks. Will could even hear him whispering, "Please tell me they aren't that big. We don't need a repeat of last time..." Will almost laughed out loud, recalling the last time Mabel got a large candy bar. The poor children...

Once they got to the house, Will felt Dipper freeze beside him. He looked up and saw someone walking around in a clown suit. He looked at Dipper, then looked back at the clown.

"... You do realize that there's a person under all that stuff, right?," he asked, turning to Dipper. The brunet opened his mouth, then shut it immediately, embarrassed. Will smiled, noticing the red blush spreading across his face.

"Aww, you're so cute~," he teased. Dipper blushed even harder.

"N-N-No I'm not!," he stuttered.

Will stuck his tongue out at him. "How about we wait here while Mabel go gets her candy?," he offered. Dipper nodded, his blush beginning to fade. They told Mabel to go ahead and stepped back to wait for her. Will rested his head on Dipper's shoulder, holding onto his arm. Looking up, he could see a small blush on the other's face and smirked. He kissed the brunet's cheek and closed his eyes for a bit. His smile remained, growing bigger as he felt an arm wrap around his waist.

Mabel ran back to them clutching a very large candy bar close to her chest. She stopped in front of them, glanced between them, then squealed.

"Oh my god, you guys are so cute! I knew you'd get all romantic tonight! Will I need to keep my headphones on hand?," she teased excitedly, wiggling her eyebrows for emphasis. Dipper flushed red and looked about ready to start screeching, while Will pulled away, his face just as red, and began to protest Mabel's suggestions. Mabel just giggled and ran off to the next house.

Dipper and Will simply stared at each other  when she left. After a few moments of tense silence, Will shuffled his feet, preparing to say something. Dipper cut him off, saying, "She's dead." They stared at each other for a few more seconds until they both nodded in sync and said, "She's dead." Then, they ran after the sugar-crazed brunette, flushed with looks of vengeance on their faces.
