Tw: Mentions of bullying and kind of a sad oneshot. A more fluffy one coming soon...maybe Saturday.

Hailey threw her hands in the air, throwing her phone. She was sick of it. Dan knocked on the door to her room.
"You alright love," he asked. Hailey knew Phil was also outside. She did want to go to them. She wanted to cry into thier shoulders and just not be a teenager anymore. She also knew she was a big girl now, and her dads wouldn't want to help her. She was supposed to learn how to handle these situations. Hailey sighed, almost crying.
"I'm fine. Go away..." Hailey said, her voice wavering and cracking.
Dan loved his daughter. Him and Phil were downstairs doing a liveshow when they heard something slam into the wall. Hailey was obviously meant to be hormonal, but they always were worried. Phil stood next to Dan.
"Honey we are coming in," Phil said shakily, before opening her door. Hailey sat on the floor in tears.
"Hai-"
"No," she told Dan. He sat by her anyway. Phil was already hugging her.
"Hailey, love what happened. It's ok to talk to us," Phil said sweetly. Hailey looked at him hopefully but stood up instead.
"I can't!" She shouted.
"Hai-"
"I just can't. I'm such a whimp. I'm supposed to be a big girl. Parents aren't allowed to help me anymore." Hailey practically yelled, cutting Phil off. Phil's eyes welled up with tears. He never seen his daughter so helpless.
"Hailey that isn't true. Teenagers live with thier parents for a reason....they need us. It's ok to ask for help," Dan said, hiding a crack in his voice. Hailey gave up and ran into thier arms sobbing. Phil and Dan held her closely, whispering calming words.
"They called me a freak. Because of you being my dads. They said the whole school thought that. It's everywhere. I can't escape i-" Hailey chocked out between sobs only to be cut off by Phil.
"Hailey."
"Yeah," she said softly, and her eyes pleaded for what her father was about to say to be good.
"Whoever said that is ignorant, and scared. Gay couples can scare people because it's different. I want you to know you are in no way a freak." Phil said to her gently.
Hailey clung to him and Dan. Dan couldn't even speak. He had never felt so heartbroken.
"Thank you," She choked out to Phil. He smiled and rocked her slowly. She may be 16, but she was still his little girl. Dan hummed softly, helping Hailey drift off to sleep. Dan's humming turned into singing, a lullaby he sang to her as a baby.
"Love you'll be alright. So lead your head down tonight. Don't question what's been done. Protecting you is our job love. Love don't you fear, no one can hurt you while I'm here." He sang softly, while Phil tucked her in. He looked at Dan, and they knew something had to be done. For now they might as well protect her by staying next to her. Hailey slept semi-soundly the rest of the night.

Also 2 votes, I found out in class and nearly screamed....correction I did scream. Thank you so much. I hope you all had a great day. Byez.

Also check out The Year To Remember, a actual book I'm writing currently, and give me feedback. It was my first fanfic.
