Winnie sat on the floor texting her girlfriend. No one knew she was dating her, but that's what made it exciting.

Her girlfriend texted her.
Bethany: you need to tell them. I'm coming over in 3 hours to get you for our date.
Winnie: I know. I'll do it. My sister is here though with her son. Ill tell her first.
Bethany: ok see you for our movie gorgeous.

"Who you texting?" Susie teased. Winnie scrunched her nose up.
"Nobody."
"Aww you're blushing. It's a special nobody." Susie giggled. Winnie pouted but she was right.

Bethany meant everything to her.

"Don't tell Dad or Papa. I'm telling them tonight."
"Winnie relax. I got you. Also do you think blur would look better for this or should it be black and white?"

Susie is an artist. Winnie liked looking at her art, but the nerves of telling her father's she was in a relationship was blocking her mind from thinking of anything else.
"Winnie let's go downstairs. Hailey is here." Susie said.

Winnie followed, her long black hair falling in front of her face. Susie was pulled into a French braid.

There Hailey was with Jackson. Jackson played on the floor with a Barbie doll. It used to be Haileys when she was about 10 years old. Winnie smiled as Susie bolted to Haileys arms. Susie had a bind with Hailey like none other. Winnie followed behind and joined in.
"How are my favorite sisters?" Hailey asked.
"Good. " Winnie replied.
"Winnie, talk to Hailey. I'm set up the movie with Papa. Dad is gonna be home soon." Susie winked and left the room.

Hailey stood mildly confused.
"I have a girlfriend." Winnie blurted out. Hailey broke into a wide grin.
"Awww I'm so happy for you." She replied, pulling Winnie in for a hug. To be honest Winnie needed that hug.
"So Dad won't care?" Winnie asked.
"Look. They are not going to care who you love as long as they are good to you. Ok so go tell them. You got this."

Winnie smiled with a new sense of confidence.
"Movie is starting!" Dan shouted.   
Hailey picked up Jackson and everyone filed into the living room.
"We are watching the new Disney film. Then after Jackson goes to sleep I have the real movie for movie night."

Hailey laughed as she set up Jackson's spot. Phil brought in popcorn and Susie snuggled next to Hailey.
"Winnie, you coming?" Phil asked as Winnie stood in the doorway.
"Papa, Dad I have something to tell you." Winnie said in a serious voice.

Dan and Phil looked at their daughter who stood with her hands in her hoodie she was wearing.
"Remember how I was talking about how I wasn't sure dating guys was meant for me, well I'm...." Winnie froze.

All the eyes were on her and it became very real.
"I'm gay." She spoke. Dan's eyes lit up and Phil was already up and hugging his daughter.
"Are you dating anyone yet?" Phil asked. His and Dan's excitement was unobtainable.
"Yeah, her name is Bethany. We have been dating for a month. She's special to me."

Dan gave his daughter the biggest hug and so did his other two children. It was a big family group hug.
"Winnie, I can't wait to meet her." Dan said.

Winnie had tears in her eyes. She never felt so happy.
"I love you Dad. I love you Papa." She said.

Winnie was so happy for being in a home that loved her for her.

A/N Hey I did it. So this one was really cute and I'm making my way through the prompts. This may end up with a part 2 with the date, so that should be exciting.
