Hailey's age:14

  Hailey ran inside after her date smiling. She loved dating Ryan. Dan would often nag her about it, but he tried not to care too much. She let out a shriek of joy after the door was shut. Dan and Phil hurried downstairs.
"Hailey what's wrong, are you ok?" Dan frantically asked. Hailey shook her head smiling from ear to ear.
"He asked me to homecoming! Sure I know nothing about football, but I mean this is big!" Hailey full on was jumping up and down in excitement. Dan let out a sigh, but Phil looked nervous. He looked at Dan cautiously.
"Guys homecoming, right?" Hailey asked confused why her parents weren't screaming for joy.
"Hailey we need to talk." Dan said for Phil.
     They made thier way into the living room. Hailey looked confused, and Phil took a deep breath.
"You know how we needed a surrogate with you, right?" Phil asked. Hailey nodded. Where was this going.
"Well the surrogate had some extra donations from us that were unused, and she desided to use them to clear out space." Phil said. Hailey looked at them in disbelief. Was she hearing this right?
"Hailey you're getting twin siblings," Dan said softly rubbing her shoulder. This was big news but they couldn't wait any longer to tell her. They also were having twins, which made it more of a shock.
"I'm getting siblings?" Hailey asked softly. This was huge. It had to be a prank.
"Yes Hailey. Don't worry, we'll always love you too. Are you gonna be ok?" Dan cut in as Phil sat there hugging his she'll shocked daughter.
"When is the babies due?" Hailey was curious. Dan looked at Phil.
"Papa please tell me."
"2 months," Phil replied. Hailey nodded. It was huge news indeed. It was amazing news. Hailey let some tears fall, earing a sad and sympathetic look from Dan. Phil held her closer. They just hoped she would be ok with it.
"Dad is this a prank?"
"Love if it was, Phil wouldn't be hugging you and we wouldn't have let it gone this far." Dan said softly.
    Hailey looked at them and have them both a hug. She couldn't be more shocked about this, but maybe this wasn't such a bad thing. After all there isn't anything bigger, and more exciting than something so small. A baby...in this case two.

A/N Hey happy Sunday. I wrote this because simply it seemed like a cool prompt.
