Hailey's Spa Day with Phil

Hailey's age: 3

Phil sat on the couch scrolling through tumbler. Dan was sleeping since yesterday he got really bad nightmares.

Hailey's cries began ringing through the apartment,  letting Phil know she was done with her nap.

He put his laptop aside and went to her room.
"Papa!!!!" Hailey wailed.
"Hailey calm down. Here love, let's get you something to eat." Phil said as he lifted her out of the crib. She gripped onto his shoulder and her tears stained his shirt.

Phil took her to the kitchen where he gave her some applesauce and some crackers.

While they ate Phil thought of a lovely idea.
"Hailey, since Daddy is sleeping, want to have a spa day?" Phil asked.
"What's a spa?" Hailey asked.

Phil rolled his eyes and laughed.
"Hailey it's a place where you can have someone do your nails and you can relax."
"Oooh can my nails be pink?" Hailey cooed.
"Of course babygirl."

Phil picked up Hailey and told her to go to her room while Phil set everything up.
He cleaned up the dishes and set up a chair with blankets in it, and he grabbed all of her nail polish. He also grabbed some kids makeup she got as a gift from her friends.

He brought her into the living room and her eyes lit up at the sight.

It was like a pillow fort spa luxury palace.

"Papa I love it!" Hailey squealed as she ran all around. Phil smiled at his daughter.

She sat on the chair and Phil had her favorite t.v show playing while he painted her nails and soon enough she also had a light shade of princess lip gloss on and light pink eyeshadow.
"Your turn." Hailey said.

Phil looked up in confusion but Hail had already gotten up and was urging him to sit in the chair.

Go on, it'll be worth it.

Phil sat down and Hailey went to work. She began painting Phils toe a bright purple and the other toes matched. It looked like Phil dipped his toes in purple paint.

Soon she even did his hair and makeup.

By then Dan had woken up. Hailey ran to his room.
"Daddy, come see Papa." She squealed.
"Well look at you. You look very pretty."
"We had a spa." Hailey cheered.
"After my turn it was Papas."
Dan instantly shot up and smiled grabbing his phone.

"Let's go. Let's see Papa." Dan followed Hailey and laughed at the sight of Phil wearing kids makeup and his hair in a ponytail.
"Look I did his nails too."

Dan looked at Phils feet and fell on the floor with a lighter taking photos for Twitter.
"Dan, we still have stuff left. Let's let Hailey help you relax. She does a great job." Phil said sarcastically with petty in his voice.

Sure enough both of them ended up wearing Hailey's masterpiece.
