"Where were you last night?" Hobi asked his younger sister as she sat down. "Eomma said you came home late."
He peeked a glance at her while the hair stylist fussed over his hair. She yawned and laid her head down on the table while facing him. She had stayed up late the night before, thinking she would spend her Saturday sleeping in; totally forgetting she had promised her brother she would be coming down for their show performance.
"We were at a cafe down the street and forgot about the time," she said casually. Her eyes fluttered shut, desperate for a short nap. She hadn't even had the time to put on proper makeup before rushing down to the studio.
"We?" he asked curiously. He knew that he hasn't spent enough time with her recently to know who her friends were. As an older brother, he took his responsibilities strictly. It was important to him to know the people in his sister's social circle.
She was already starting to doze off by the second. "Mhmm...Jungkook and Taehyung oppa," she trailed on.
It took awhile for him to register her words. "Who?!" Hobi asked, flustered at the answer. "Yah! Who did you say it was again?" He shook her shoulders vigorously but failed at waking her up. Her snores were already drifting in.
"Where are those rascals?" he fumed.
He started searching high and low for the two boys. When he had caught them sneaking out of the dorm, he specifically remembered the two of them saying they were staying late to practice. But instead, they had sneaked off to meet his sister. And lied to his face.
When did they even got close?! Did they always meet up late night? And what do they do when they meet?! And why hadn't anyone of them mention the three of them were good friends?! Questions started to float around Hobi's mind.
"YAH!" he shouted when he finally caught sight of Jungkook and Taehyung. They were seated on the floor, absorbed in their online games. He grabbed them by the ears and dragged them away.
"I let you sneak out last night but you lied to me huh." he growled.
