Part 3/?
Namjoon quietly enters the room with the tray of tea as he watches Jin's nightly meditation. The second-hand ticks its final lap, reaching 9 pm in Budapest. He could feel Jin's presence drifting through the fabric of time, focused on reaching his destiny. And so Namjoon sits with him, closes his eyes and explored Jin's mind.
A burst of colour explodes in his eyes as he travels with Jin. It slows down and wavers into a scene that was tinged with familiarity. He knows exactly where he was but instead sees it through Jin's eyes. The raw emotion of comfort and anguish sets in, heavy on Namjoon's shoulders. Almost too much for him to take.
He escapes the past and falls back to reality, shuddering from the immense amount of energy drained. Exploring Jin's mind and memories were hard enough, let alone travelling with him to a place that he holds so dearly to him. Jin was an emotional person that held everything in his heart which proved to be more demanding for Namjoon to probe.
15 minutes pass and finally, he feels the shift in energy as Jin's absorbed back into the present.
"You went back to the 30s," Namjoon whispered once Jin fluttered his eyes open.
"I always do," he replies as walks over to the tray of tea. He pours himself a cup and takes in the aroma. "And you know that."
"You've been at it for years now. I can still feel your pain," Namjoon said as he stayed seated. "If you would only let me heal you-"
"You mean block my memory?" Jin retorted accusingly. He bit back an apology albeit the harshness of his words. When it came to the family he once had, it was hard to forgive Namjoon for what he did.
Jin hears him sigh defeatedly. "I watch out for him every day," he pointed out as if offering it as compensation for what he had done.
Jin stays silent, sipping the hot tea to calm his nerves. It was always so jittery when he comes back from travelling in time. But he had to admit, Namjoon's words peaked his interest, so gave a slight nod, silently asking for more.
"He's in Tokyo now. Been there for a while," Namjoon started. He paused before spilling his next line. "He found another one."
This time around, Jin turns to face his friend, immediately understanding the subtle prompt he gave. "What is he?"
The corner of Namjoon's lips perked up as he hears the voice of a bubbly person in his head. "He's a runner. A very fast one."

Their room was silent as each boy sat facing each other. Taehyung had his eyes close with a frown, trying to listen to every word that was said in the other room. He could see a faded scene with Jin and Namjoon talking.
"What are they talking about?" Jungkook asked with a small voice.
Without lifting his eyes open, Taehyung unfurls his palm, gesturing for Jungkook to place his hand there. "Yoongi," he replies curtly, trying his best to keep his concentration in line.
Jungkook cautiously weighs his open hand on Taehyung's, trusting the older one to block out his fatal touch. Instantly, he was pulled into Jin's room with Taehyung beside him. They were watching and listening to the pair while being hidden in Taehyung's bubble.

"Well, shouldn't we reach out to him?" Jin suggested. He was eager to see his old friend again. "Now that we've got six, it's only a matter of time till the 7th come running to us."
Namjoon reaches out, holding Jin by the shoulders. "Every time I listen to his thoughts, I always feel the barrier. He's still trying to block us out."
Jin pursed his lips and shook off Namjoon's hands. "No, he's only blocking you out."
With a heavy heart, Jin leaves the room, desperate to get out. It was difficult to face Namjoon whenever the sensitive issue was brought up. Right now, all he misses is Yoongi's gummy smile.
