A/N: I've decided to change the title for the BTS Private Boarding School Au :) I chose Enigma means a person or thing that is mysterious, puzzling and complicated to understand. It perfectly describes the boys' characters and the complex issues that they face.

"Jung Hoseok!"

He groans internally from where he was sitting at the corner of the bar. Anytime that his full name is being called out it was either: his mum finding his secret stash of cigarettes, his teacher criticizing him for his horrible hand writing or his nosy neighbours trying to catch him in a slip of a tongue. And since both his mother and teacher isn't here, it could only mean one thing. Hoseok downs the last of his margarita and puts up a grin, dreading the upcoming conversation.

"Mrs Milstein!" he exclaims. "It's been a while. How is Stacey? I heard she managed to secure a position in the Academy."

The woman was stick-thin, on the verge of having her ribs slice through her skin and dress. Her bony fingers and shoulders were the only dead giveaway of her age - 'oh please, 56 is such an absurd age' she liked to say. Her face, however, made her look 26 in the gaudiest way. The endless surgeries and botox done to the poor lady has her cheeks frozen like apples and her skin stretched back that her beak-like of a nose stands out even more. Hoseok was silently glad to be able to wake to a beautiful mother every weekend.

"Ah-ha! Not a surprise is it? My two older sons are the golden boys in St Strachan so it's only fitting that my Stacey has the brains to be accepted. I'm sure Mr Jeon was a little bias when he picked the new batch. To have the Milstein triple threat in that school, oh! It would lift the Academy's grades up. Did you hear? Apparently, St Strachan is having trouble with their performance."

The Milstein brothers - something Hoseok was very familiar with. They were the worst scumbags to grace the prestigious Academy, dragging their greasy ass everywhere there was a conflict to stir trouble. "The seed doesn't fall far from the tree" suited the Milsteins perfectly. During his first year in St Strachan, he had been the target of the brothers' taunting. Hoseok carried the status of 'lowest income' in school for at least two years after the students found out his family earned the least amongst everyone else. So before he met Yoongi, he had to endure the daily mistreatments of the Milstein brothers.

"You might want to check on your sons' grades then. They might have something to do with the downfall." The words slip out of him before he could bite his tongue, instantly regretting it.

Conversing with people like Mrs Milstein is like a constant game of mouse and cat. And if you were to fall into the trap of their gloating, they won't hesitate to attack you with whatever gossip they have on you. Hoseok wished that either Jin or Taehyung was with him. Those two knew how to snake their way around conversations like these.
