Namjoon tapped on Suga's shoulder and asked him, "Hyung, how does this sound?"
Trying to write about love is ultimately like trying to have a dictionary represent life. No matter how many words there are, there will never be enough. I write songs for a living but when it comes to your love, my lyrics are like the black void in space. Just the thought of your silhouette sets fire to my mind.
"That's the first verse of the song," he explained.
Suga took the notepad from his hands and read it through. Beside him, Namjoon was like a nervous tick. Usually, he would be fine with Suga criticising his work but this time, these words were special and personal to him. The only reason why he asked Suga for help was because he couldn't get the right hook for the song.
"I'm guessing this is not for our new album," Suga snickered with a smirk.
Namjoon blushed in response to his older brother's teasing. Ah, he knew Suga was going to be like this. He wouldn't miss the chance to get his dongsaeng red in the cheeks.

He cleared his throat and explained, "I've got the melody in my head but I can't find the perfect chorus to bring everything together."
"Ah..." Suga chuckled. He scratched his chin and pondered for a while. "This is about her right?"
Namjoon nodded, his dimples showing from smiling adorably.

"Then find an inspiration. It can be her face, the way she talks or the things she likes. Write it down in random sentences then slowly piece the words together," Suga advised.
He thanked Suga and went back to focus on the chorus. Namjoon followed his advice and looked at the pictures he had of her. God, she was beautiful, he thought. Like the greek goddess Aphrodite.
All day he was plugged into his phone, listening to the melody he created and penning down as many words he can. He had to make sure the song was perfect.
