// Early Autumn //

"So...Jimin," the girl giggles as she leans on the locker doors. "I was thinking, we could stay behind in the art studio after school. I really need help with the new project."

"Uhm, I-"

"Would rather get stabbed in the eye," Taehyung said, interrupting their conversation.

He slams Jimin's locker shut and crosses his arms as he eyes the girl. His expression was icy and unforgiving. "Go suck up to someone else's dick Adalene. I can't stand the scent of a gold digger."

The girl smirks and slinks away with her middle finger held up in the air. Taehyung turns around to face Jimin, shaking his head at his naive new friend.

"You didn't have to be rude," Jimin sighs, frowning at the taller one. "She was nice to me."

"Yes, she was nice to me and Yoongi too. Very nice. In fact, she was so nice, she spreads her legs in the name of money," Taehyung said, giving Jimin a knowing look.

It took a while for him to get it but once it clicked, he couldn't help but grimace at the image in his head. "She really...ehem...the two of-"

"Yes," Taehyung admitted. He cleared his throat and grabbed Jimin by the arms, leading him to their meeting place. "Don't ever mention that to Yoongi though."

The two winded along the busy hallways to the east wing of the building, where all the different clubs had their headquarters. The early Autumn weather was already breezing in, bringing chills to prickle up their skin. Jimin fidgeted in his brand new maroon blazer. The tie was worst, choking him throughout the day. 6 months in and he was still unused to the stiff uniforms that the students donned.

As soon as they were behind closed doors, Jimin pulled down the knot of the tie, gasping for air. The rest of the boys chuckled at their inexperienced friend. Unlike him, they've been in the circle of private schools for most of their lives, living by the strict rules since they were born.

"Throw your tie in the washer a couple of times. It'll get the starch out," Yoongi mumbled, barely sparing a glance at Jimin. His eyes were stuck on the screen of his laptop while his fingers were typing away.

"Wait, I thought you're supposed to soak it in vinegar," Jungkook said as he looked up from the spread of books on the table.

"Du bist ein idiot," Hoseok chuckled from his seat on the window sill the same time Namjoon smacked him on the back of the head.

Namjoon tapped at the books impatiently, "Don't hand out advice when you still think Napoleon Bonaparte is linked to the desert. Just because they have the same name and come from the same country doesn't make them linked." Jungkook grumbles as he started scribbling again.

Jimin's smile grew bigger as he took a seat in front of the fireplace. He was convinced the warmth in his heart didn't come from the crackling fire but instead, it came from the sight of the group of people in this room.

Suddenly the doors open wide and in came Jin, the president of the student organisation. "We have a problem."
