// Tae's Solution //

"I've got an idea," Taehyung offered as he raises his index finger.

The boys turn around to face the least expected person to come up with a solution. Within the group, Taehyung isn't exactly known for using his brains when it comes to logic.

He takes a sit on a table and props his leg on the opposite one, only to be swatted away by Jin. "We're gentlemen. Not rebels," he simply said.

Taehyung doesn't hide his eyes rolling back. These two were always headbutting each other when it came to little things. Jin prides himself with the stature of a poised and classy man while the younger boy would rather do whatever he likes.

"How long do we have till the surprise checkup?" he asked Jin.

"Well, like I said, each club has to submit a time slot within the next week," Jin said as he crosses his arms. "So I'm guessing the latest we can postpone our checkup is by the next Friday"

Taehyung claps his hands together and gave his friends his boxy smile, "Then we've got plenty of time to execute my plan. We named our club 'Philosophical Studies' yes?"

His audience gave half-hearted nods, uncertain where their Gucci cult member of a friend was headed to.

"Namjoon!" he called out, pointing to the tall boy fiddling with his glasses. "Define Philosophy for me please!"

Namjoon cocks his head to the side with an amused smile. He's always intrigued by Taehyung's eccentric charm. "The study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence, especially when considered as an academic discipline," he says with precision.

A few of the boys took a while to process the string of words Namjoon had just delivered, trying hard to understand what Philosophy really meant.

"Ta-da! There's our answer for a solution!" Taehyung exclaimed.

The room fell silent as his friends exchanged glances, expecting more than just a ta-da from Taehyung. At this point, their problem was still far from getting solved.

He lets out a frustrated sigh before continuing, "The definition of Philosophy clearly states that it's the study of knowledge, reality and existence. Isn't that basically describing our social lives and the things every student experiences in this school?"

"Ah," Namjoon perks up from his seat, nodding his head. "I see where you're getting at. So you want us to conduct some study on the students here?"

Taehyung snaps his fingers and pointed at Namjoon again, relief that someone finally understands. But the rest of the boys were still trying to reel in what he meant.

"Exactly! But not just study them. More than that!" Taehyung explains. "We discuss the issues, debate on the rights and wrongs of the school, interview students and staffs and we publish our perspective."

A chorus of 'ah(s)' float around the room as the boys start grasping the idea. And honestly, it sounded like a solid plan that they can actually pull off.

"But where are we going to publicly display all these philosophical studies that we'd be doing?" Jimin asks.

To that question, Taehyung's smile becomes bigger as he stands between Jin and Yoongi. He clings onto their arms and said, "We'll use Jin's magazines and Yoongi's broadcasts. The magazines that Jin produces is practically an essential read for all the students here. And Yoongi's radio broadcasts already talks about politics and what not and already has a huge fan base. Why not use them to our advantage?"

Hoseok drums his fingers on the table and nods along to Taehyung's plans, "Kid's got a point. We've got a little over than a week to come up with questions, conduct the surveys and discuss them. I can ask my debate team to pull up some quality questions."

The more it sinks in, the more Jin is convinced of the plan. "Great then, we've got a plan."
