The room was silent, apart from the soft snores that drift in and out. She snuggles deeper into the comforter, trying to chase away the cold that lingers on the tips of her toes. The golden rays of the sun broke through the cracks of the curtain and reached out to her. Its warmth swayed her from her sleep. Sighing, she opens her eyes to let the morning in.
"Babe, can you close the curtains...I don't like the sun," rasped a voice beside her.
She shot out of her bed, frightened by the extra body on her bed. What happened last night?! Why can't she remember? Why was he in her bed? What did they do?!

"Yah...Yah!! Why are you here?!" she shakes his body.
"Ah why are you loud in the morning...I'm trying to sleep," he teases her, giving her a sleepy smile.
She was speechless. Had they...no that can't be it. She would've remembered. Right? Her hands roamed her body, sighing in relieve that she was fully clothed. Pulling the covers away, she found that he too was fully clothed.
"Come back to bed with me," he whines.
"Not until you tell me why you're in my bed," she says, her arms crossed over her chest.
He chuckled as he rubbed his eyes, "You know I'm your boyfriend right? Why are you looking at me as if I'm a stranger?"

She hadn't realised that her heart had been rapidly thumping until she felt it with her hands. Seeing him in her bed with his morning voice evoked a strange feeling in her. She clears her throat before talking,
"Just tell me what happened. Please?"

He stretches on the bed with a yawn, "Well, you were staying up so late in the university library studying that you fell asleep in the cubicle. I carried you on my back all the way here."
Now that he mentioned library she could vaguely remember stuffing her face in numerous books. All because of that damn dateline. She blushed and gave him a sheepish smile, thanking him with a kiss.
