"Saan kayo nagkakilala ate?" Napalingon ako sa kapatid ko. Nandito na kami ngayon sa kwarto ko bonding lang. Akala ko pa naman lusot na ko sa mga tanung di pa pala. Di na nga ako tinantanan ni Emerald kanina eh. Tsk!

"First year, first day" Sagot ko.

"Really? So anong ginawa nya sayo para makuha ang atensyon mo?" Nakangiti nyang tanung. My sister know me well. Alam nyang it takes a lot to get my attention.

"Wala" Tipid kung sagot.

"Seryoso?" Di makapaniwalang sagot nya. "Wala syang ginawa and yet she gets your attention the first day?" Dugtong pa nya.

"Yes" Totoo naman wala naman talagang ginawa Si Amber to get my attention. "But she did something to others na nakakuha ng atensyon ko" Nakangiting dugtong ko.

"And what is it?" Excited na tanung ng kapatid ko. Nakangiting napapailing naman ako sa kanya.

"You know how much I love dogs" Sabi ko, tumango naman ang kapatid ko. "I saw her help an helpless stray dog na nastuck sa imburnal." Napatawa naman sya sa sagot ko.

"What?"

"Nothing Jade. Aso lang talaga ang katapat para makuha atensyon mo eh." Sabi nya sabay tawa ulit.

"Shut up. I love dogs and you know that" Depensa ko.

"I know twin. So what happened next?" Tanung nya kapagkuwan.

"Kinuha nya at binuhat, not minding if she gets dirty, all she wants is to help the dog. I saw it in her eyes" Nakangiti kong dugtong. Napangiting iiling iling naman ang kapatid ko.

"You'll help the dog if she didn't do it, right?" Tumango naman ako sa kanya. "I can't believe you ate, first day of school pero paghahanap sa mga stray dogs ang inatupag mo" Sabi pa nya. I love dogs, I'm a certified dog lover, that's why in my free time I drive around the metro to find stray dogs and bring them to the Animal shelter. Not everyone knows about it though, just them, closed friends and family.

"Ey! I didn't. Actually, few meters sa labas ng campus lang naman nangyari yun. I saw the dog while i was driving to school, I pulled over about to cross the road but then naunahan na nya ko." Paliwanag ko. "And the funny thing was, the dog keeps on waggling its tail so the mud were all over her face." I laugh loudly upon remembering that. Nakisabay naman sakin ang kapatid ko.

"I can't imagine her face back then. Maybe she's a little embarass because of that" Nagpupunas ng luhang komento ng kapatid ko.

"Nope. She's not. She wasn't embarass at all. She has a smile of relief and happiness in her face that time." Nakangiting sagot ko. Yeah! Maybe that's one of the reason why she gets my attention. We both have the heart for dogs.

"Cute"

"Since then, I don't know palagi ko na lang syang nakikita. I mean palagi na syang hinahanap nang mga mata ko. Since that day I can't forget the way her eyes lit in happiness nung na save nya yung aso." Dreaming paliwanag ko.

"You're so whip sister" komento ng kakambal ko.

"I know" Nakangiti kong amin. "But what can I do she's adorable that day"

"Where are you?" I look stupid talking to myself right now. Hindi ko kasi makita si Amber kanina ko pa sya hinahanap. Naging habit ko na kasi ang silayan sya as what my friends called it, bago simulan ang araw ko. Pero kanina hindi ko nagawa dahil nga pinatawag ako for emergency meeting with the board of director ng school for this upcoming student week. It sucks sometimes being the SC president. And now I'm looking for her but I can't find her. Nagugutom na ko, makapunta na nga lang nang canteen.
