wait that wasn't the bell, that was my... alarm?
oh my god it was a dream
i thought. now that i think of it, that romeo kid looked like a snake, why the heck would even my dreaming self think that thing is cute?
i sat up and looked over at millie who was still beautiful sleeping.
"hey" she said rubbing her eyes and sitting up.
"hey baby face"
"come on that nickname again!" she said nudging my shoulder
"you know you love it!" i said with a toothy smile
"shit! my mom doesn't know your here!"
"it's ok millie! i'll just go home and see you on the bus!"
"but i want you to stayyy" she pouted her bottom lip and tilted her head
"i do too, but i'll see you soon, k?"
"k!"
she planted a light kiss on my lips and let it linger and i walked out her window and safely made the jump from her roof and ran home.
