"hey mom!" i yelled as i walked through the doors of my house
"hey finn! how was school?"
"great! can my friend millie come over at 7 to study for the math test tomorrow?"

"fine, she's my girlfriend but please don't act or say anything stupid or embarrassing please? i really like her, like really like her, more than i've ever liked someone other than you and dad," i choked on the last words, "and nick and her" i whispered the last word. i would never love even like her again or even have a slight liking of her
"i'll make you guys some dinner before she comes so you don't study on an empty stomach!"
"thanks mom love you!"
"tell her to come at 6 so i can meet her and you guys can eat!"

i decided to wear a white, spaghetti strap, flowy, white shirt with crosses in the font, black jeans with a rips in the knees, and a grey sweater. it was 5 so i decided to go walk in the park for a little before i went to finns. and guess who i saw there? the one and only maddie ziegler.
i sat down on the swings as she approached me
"where's your little boyfriend?" she asked sitting on the swing next to me
"getting ready for our date" i responded
"oh really?" she smirked
"really. while your here crying that he doesn't love you back"
"i wouldn't be so sure"
"what do you mean?" i asked annoyed
"he never told you? me and him used to date" i cringed at the fact he would ever date her "he is just using you to get over me"
"so not true" i said laughing
"really? i think you should ask him that" i scoffed at the thought that finn was using me.
"you just want him maddie, he would never do that"
"well all i'm saying is that he loves me"
"loved" i responded "and i bet he never did anyway
"think again sweetie" with that she got up and walked away. what if she was telling the truth?
