Disappointed

"Cameron get you and your brother's things so we can go get mommy," I said patting  his butt.

He ran up stairs to grab their bags while I picked up her 2 year old son Kross , grabbing his little baggy and some snacks for the boys. Cameron ran back down stairs with his back pack and kross duffle bag.

"Ready ManMan," I asked grabbing everything I needed.

"Yes mama," he said grabbing onto my hand.

I opened the door double checking if I had everything before locking it and heading to the car. I put Kross in his seat buckling him and then proceeded to make sure Cameron was buckled up. I put their things in the trunk and then gave them their snack baggies. I got into the car and started the car up.

I sped down the street and looked at the time, it was 11:40. It take 15 minutes to get to Lauren's house and 30 to get to the doctors office from there. Michelle house is 25 minutes from Lauren's house so it should be shorter to get to the doctors office when it's time to take her.

Lauren😞💔~ Alright I'm coming

She walked out side, locking her door behind her. I got out and opened her door for her shutting them getting back into the car making my way to the appointment.

"You hungry," I asked looking over at her. She was rubbing her now round belly smiling. "Yes," she said nodding.

"Ight what you want," I asked as she grabbed my hand and placed it on her stomach.

I intertwined our fingers and smiled rubbing her belly.

"Wendy's," she says looking out the window.

"Boys y'all were good for mama," she asked looking back at them.

"Yes ma'am," they said well camron said and Kross tried to say ma'am.

I missed moments with just us hanging out. I pulled up to Wendy's and ordered her and the boys food handing it to them.

"I've missed you," I said looking over at Lauren again. She sighed and turned my way to look at me.

"Well I can't tell Kehlani. I'm not a toy I'm not playing tug a war for your heart. I can't do it and I won't I'm too grown for this. So you need to figure out what you want and figure it out fast," she said rubbing my knuckles.

We pulled up at the Doctors office with 10 minutes to spare. I got her out of the car and then the boys and headed inside. I'm so excited, I can't wait to find out the gender of my first born.

1hour later

We were now leaving the doctors office and to say I'm excited now is an understatement. IM HAVING A BOY! I'm so happy man. I got the kids in the car and then made sure Lauren got in safely.

"You're happy huh," Lauren asked smiling.

I nodded and grinned even harder.

"I can tell. It seems like all I make is boys," she said laughing rubbing her stomach.

I laughed and pulled into Chick Fil- a grabbing some food and then headed back to Lauren's house. We got the boys and their stuff out heading inside.

"Are you staying," Lauren asked laying her head on my chest.

Now is the time to tell her, keeping it a secret will only make things worse.

"No but I can come back later. Lauren it's something I have to tell you," I said causing her to sit up.

She stared at me for a moment trying to read me.

"Go ahead," she said looking at me intently.

I took a deep breath, it's now or never.

"Michelle is pregnant and I have to take her to her appointment," I said looking at my hands.

She just stared at me before standing up.

"Really Kehlani," she nearly shouted.

I felt so bad right now.

"Lauren ba-," I tried to get out before she cut me off.

"No! It's not Lauren baby anything. How could you do this to me," she said tearing up.

I was speechless, I wanted to say something but I couldn't.

"Remember when we're in highschool? You chased me around but I would never take the chance because of your reputationWhat did you promise to me Kehlani," she said staring me in my eyes.

She was full on crying but she didn't break her eye contact.

"I promised that I was going to get you. That I was going to better myself and that when I got you I wasn't going to let you go. I promised that I was going to give up all my hoe ways. I told you I wasn't going to hurt you and that we were going to take over the world," I said trying to fight back my tears.

She shook her head in disbelief.

"And When I finally gave you a chance what do you do? Everything you told me you wouldn't," she said sobbing.

"I'm sorry Lauren," I said pulling her into my chest.

She just sobbed grabbing onto my shirt.

"K-Keh I love you with all my heart, more than my damn self and I tried to I tried  to give you the best and this what happens? How did we come to this, huh?  All this chasing just to hurt me? I'm so disappointed not just in you but in myself too. I should've listened and stayed away. I shouldn't have fell for you," she said pushing me off her.

"You don't want to be late. Go get her and I wish you the best. We can talk about this later," she said opening the door.

Her eyes were red and starting to puff up.

"I'm sorry Lauren, I truly do love you. I don't know why I'm like this," I said crying.

She pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead.

"Maybe we just aren't meant to be. You need to figure out who and what you want. Because we aren't going to be waiting and playing this game forever," she said letting me go.

I nodded, and pecked her lips tasting the taste of our tears together.

I cried the whole way to the car and to Michelle house.  I'm Disappointed in myself for this shit.
