Epilogue

Kelly Pov

Its been about 5 months since i've last seen or heard from Bey.. Jay bring the kids to see me when its my weekend or week to have the kids as he does with Titan for her. She even went out her way to send Titan a phone so he can be able to contact her without going through me. I really hate the fact that it has to be like this because, this shit sucks. I never meant to push her away but it seems as that's  all that I've been accomplishing this whole time. When I do try to reach out she ignores me, I've even tried to go up to her office at Roc Nation but she's instructed her assistant to not let me in. So i just stopped trying to reach out all together, hoping she came to her senses and came back to me.

"Girl if you don't stop moping around and get ready for this Christmas party," Lani said to me. Her and Lauren were throwing the annual Christmas party that each couple in our circle takes turns throwing every year. This year was supposed to be me and Bey's turn but as you can see that's not happening. Lauren and Kehlani finally were able to get it together even with all there problems and all Lani's kids they were still able to fix and now are expecting a baby girl. They seem to be very happy and Lani have been doing great since they've been back on track.

"I'm not moping," i denied rolling my eyes. I got up to look for something to wear when a thought popped up into my mind. " Is Bey going to be there tonight?" I asked hopefully and also warily.

"I invited her so yeah maybe," Kehlani replied. I nodded and continued to look for something to wear, when another thought came across my mind.

"Does she know that im going to be there," I asked. Beyonce tries to avoid me at all cost, meaning if im attending a group gathering then she's not.

"I didn't mention it and she didn't ask which is surprisingly shocking," Lani replied. It honestly is shocking, every time someone would invite her somewhere the first thing she would ask is if i was coming as well. Did she perhaps move on? Or is she ready to face me ?

"Are you done questioning me now? Because i really need you to get a move on it and Lauren sent me here to make sure you come so hurry up." Kehlani said before plopping down on MY bed.

I chuckled, heading into the bathroom with my things. Im nervous about tonight but hopefully it all goes well. Hopefully i get my wife back tonight.

Later that night.....

It's been an hour since the party started and Beyonce has yet to show up, but i'm keeping faith because knowing Bey she'll show up late. A few minutes later i heard a lot of commotion breaking me out of my thoughts and worries. I headed towards the scene of commotion, immediately my heart stopped and leapt for joy. That was of course until i seen the tall, brownskin beauty behind her.

Could this night get any worse..... And yet it did.

Beyonce pov

"You should wear this boo," A friend of mine said. I nodded in agreement, in her hands she held a sleek red gown. I grabbed the dress from her hands, and headed to my room to get dressed and ready for the party.

Yes im attending the party, i need to have fun. Lately i've been taking time to myself to actually think things through. God knows i love Kelly but everything has to come to an end one day and maybe it's our time to. I hope to see my wife tonight because we surely have some things to discuss.

"Aye babe  you ready yet," my friend asked from outside of the door. I looked at the time and quickly finished applying the last touches. Shit, we're going to be late.

"Yea, I'll be out in a minute. Can you start the car," i shouted back.  Once i was finished i grabbed my purse, package, keys and phone before heading out the door.
