Fated to Love You

1st haircut

Leni was combing Natalia's hair before going to bed. She noticed that her daughter's hair was quite long."We didn't cut her hair since she was born..." She remembered.

"Mahal? Why don't we give Natalia her first haircut 💇..." Leni suggested while  her head resting on his chest with their arms hugging each other.

"Huh? But why,Mahal?" He frowned.

"Eh kasi,don't you think it's a bit long for her age?" She explained.

"Mahal,it's actually beautiful! She looks cute with her hair. Kaya wag na!" He disagree with her.

She actually didn't agree to him,she thought it's better to trim Natalia's hair but she don't want to fight with him. She just nods.

Natalia was busy playing at her Mama's office when Leni noticed something--- Her daughter keeps on flipping her hair  for it to stayed at her back,it distract her whenever it goes to her face. She thought of an idea 💡 .

"Sweetie,are you having a hard time with your hair?" She asked.

"Ahh. Sometimes,Mama." Natalia answered and played again.

"Would you like us to go to salon to have new haircut?" She asked again.

"Ahh... is it okay,Mama? What if Papa doesn't like the idea?" Natalia confirm knowing that her Papa would disagree.

Leni suddenly remembered her conversation with her husband. She knew that he would disagree but the comfort of their daughter is her first concern.

Bongbong went home and find his daughter already asleep so he didn't bother to wake her up to ask her to tell him what happened to her day,instead he just ask his wife while cuddling in their bed.

"Ay mahal pinagupitan ko nga pala si Natalia..." Leni informed him. He looked down to her--surprised.

"Ha? But why? Ska you didn't tell me!" He asked a bit irk.

"Mahal,diba nga I told you the other night na I think it's better to trim her hair? It's distracting her when she's playing... Besides trim lang naman." She explained calmly.

His eyebrows still furrowing,it seems he doesn't like what she did. He is very vocal about Natalia's hair--- "We will keep her hair long like other children. "  

"Kahit na! Kala ko ba nagkaintindihan tayo about dyan!?..." He retorted. "...You didn't even told me before doing so!" He continued and turn his back from her,withdrawing from their hug.

"Bong,pwede ba?! Let's not argue about this?!" She said a bit irked too.

He just ignored her. She didn't get his point so she just turned her back also from him and didn't utter any word.

When Bongbong was young,he always saw his sisters crying whenever their mom decided to cut their hair. Aimee and Imee wanted to keep their hair long because they took care of it and they love combing their hair.

That's why when Bongbong had Natalia,he made sure that she wouldn't have the same experience like his sisters.

Natalia feel that there's something wrong inside the house. She noticed that her Mama and Papa didn't talk too much since they woke up until now that they're having breakfast,it's strange!

"Sweetie,I'll go na ha!"... Bongbong kissed Natalia's forehead. "...bye! I love you!"

"What about Mama? You didn't kiss her yet." Natalia told her Papa.

Bongbong and Leni just looked at each other without uttering a word. He then went closer to her and just kissed the top of her head.

"Bye..." He uttered. She nodded.

It gave Natalia more hint that her Mama and Papa are not okay because Bongbong didn't bring Leni to her office.

"Wala kang sundo?" Risa saw Leni preparing her things ready to go home without her husband. She just gave her a side smile.

"Where's Bongbong?" Risa asked again. Leni didn't respond,that's when Risa realized that something's wrong.

"Hmm. Nag away kayo?" She asked. Leni sighed heavily.

"I knew it! Sige na,bakit?" She asked her to tell her what happened. Leni sat down at her office chair and started to narrate the whole story.

"Hay! Ano ba kayong dalawa?! Pati ba namn yan pag aawayan nyo pa?! You need to talk before Natalia could feel the coldness between the two of you,okay?!" Risa adviced her friend,Leni. She nodded.

They are both resting on their sides,back to back. Both finding the right time go speak to one another. They both knew that they were wrong,they wanted to apologize to each other but never had the courage to do the first move.

They suddenly move to face each other at the same time.

"I'm sorry---"
"I'm sorry---"

They both uttered simultaneously.

They were startled at first but after a while they smiled at each other.

"I'm sorry,I should've told you before I decided to trim Natalia's hair..." She apologize.

"It's okay,Mahal..." He wrapped his arms around her and made her head rest on his chest. "...Actually ako dapat mag sorry... Our daughter's comfort is your first concern. I should've more understanding. I'm sorry,Mahal."

She went on top of him. "It's okay,Mahal." She kissed him in the lips. They smiled at each other before he kissed her forehead. He comfortably hug her while resting on top of him. They continue in that position until they fell asleep.

The morning came and Natalia felt the love and affection again. Bongbong and Leni did their usual routine and be all sweet and in love.
