Crossed Legs

Election period is here once again,the Commission on Elections together with CNN held the first PiliPinas debate for Vice Presidential Candidates.

While the debate is not yet starting,the five candidates are together in one holding area. At the middle of their friendly conversation,Bongbong asked Leni what was bugging his mind.

"Wala kana ba talagang balak mag asawa?" He asked making them laugh.

"Bakit? Mag aaply ka?" Chiz asked him making them more laugh 😂

"Kung pwede bakit hindi?! Gusto mo mag file na ko ng Certificate of Candidacy!" Bongbong replied jokingly.

"Oh! Paano ba yan Congresswoman,Mukhang may bago kang manliligaw?!" Allan brought up.

They all laughed while Leni was turning red already. "Ay ano ba yan?! Bakit ako ang topic?"

"Eh mukhang interesado tong isa sa'yo eh!" Allan teased her referring to Bongbong.

"So,ano nga? Do you still have plans?" Bongbong was determined to hear her answer.

"Ha? Ah. Ewan. I don't know. Bakit ba?" Leni just didn't know what to answer. She was not prepared being on the hot seat.

"Ahh..." Bongbong nodded slowly.  "Sayang naman..." He followed in a lower voice.

"Ha? Sorry what were you saying?" Leni leaned closer to him as she didn't hear him.

When he was about to answer her,one of the staffs informed them that the debate will be starting in 5 minutes,they just nodded.

While they are engaged into silence as they are preparing their self,Bongbong couldn't deny how much Leni fascinated him. With the way she talks,they way she laugh and they way she carried herself - it's just... captivating 😍 he thought.

"Yes?" She asked him as she noticed that he's staring at her blankly.

"Ha? Ah. Nothing. Sorry..." He stammered as he was caught by her. She smiled and look away. "I just think you're beautiful 😍.." he followed making her look at him again.

"Thank you..." She blushed.

Another minute passed by,all of them are silent and heads down. Bongbong,until now couldn't focus on the debate as he was distracted by Leni. He looked at her once again and decided to make fun of her.

She sat up straight. He sat up straight too.

She cleared her throat. He cleared his throat too.

"Ginagaya mo ba ko?" She uttered.

"Ginagaya mo ba ko?" He quickly copied her.

She frowned at him. He frowned at her too.

"Ginagaya mo ko ha!"

"Ginagaya mo ko ha!"

She wasn't actually annoyed with what his doing. She thought of an idea that would make him look funny as he continued to mimic her.

She suddenly crossed her legs. Thinking that he wouldn't do that because he will be feeling awkward doing so,he suddenly crossed his legs too.

She burst into laughter as she saw him crossing his legs. "Para tong ewan..."

He laughed as well. "Ano?" He looked at her innocently.

"Wala! Ang cute mo nang naka cross legs... Habang sila lalaking lalaki ang upo,ikaw naka ganyan?! You look like a gay..." she continued laughing.

"I'm not a gay! Ginaya lang kitang umupo kasi para naman may kapareho ka... " He defended.

"Uy! Kayong dalawa dyan... Let's go! The debate will start na... Mukhang nagkaka developan na kayo dyan eh!" Chiz interrupted them informing that they need to proceed at the back stage. They just stood up and followed them.
