Facing your problems was hard enough but running away was harder for Aurelia. That's what she was taught to do ever since her parents were brutally murdered by beasts. Things were never the same, being on her own now that the beasts chased her.
Human girls were being caught, kept in cellars, auctions, and worse. Aurelia refused to be one of them, rather she'd die than be taken into an auction for greedy and disgusting men that wanted only women for primal needs.
