I woke up when rays of sunshine hit my forehead. I felt slightly disoriented when I regained my consciousness as my head ached. Alertness and wariness washed over me in suffocating breaths, alarm bells ringing as I felt the harsh weight of my motionless body. My eyes felt heavy when they opened, refusing to oblige and allow me to see my whereabouts. My throat resembles that of a scorching burn, dry and raspy. Deep in the pit of my stomach, I immediately knew something was exasperatedly wrong. Little by little my memories came flooding back as I knew, much with my knowledge, I had been possibly drugged, urging my worry to intensify.

My eyes had finally pried open, nothing but blurred images until my vision had focused. I could outline the ceiling and fan above me, going in circles as a slight gust of air was circling. I urged my head to the side, fighting the pressure to close my eyes again as I stared, dumbfounded. Whatever substance that is currently in my veins has my senses foggy and unpredictable.

I examined around every inch of the room from top to bottom, anything that would tell me where I was. I froze, realizing that this was a male's room. I sat up, my heart hammering inside of my chest. The mattress was so soft, the pillows smelled strong like a scented cologne, tears building in my eyes. I bit my lip and let out a shaky breath, I wasn't going to cry. I was stronger than before and I had to prove that. The room was very decorative and has a lot of space. The walls were colored beige and a big painting decorated one of them. The only window in the room was the glass doors that lead out to a balcony. Dark red curtains had drapes over its sides, rays of sunshine scarcely peeking through. The king sized bed I was laying on had white and grey duvets on top as well as in the corner of the room, was a big wardrobe with a mirror.

I looked from top to bottom, anything that could help in alliance to my escape. I get up from the soft bed and hurriedly rush to the glass doors out to the balcony. I pushed and pulled on the golden handles but to no use, the doors were locked. I stared, dumbfounded. I was very fatigued, I felt dizzy when I instantly gave up on escaping through the balcony doors, immediately resting my body against the nearest wall. I let out a frustrated shriek as I sent one last damage to the glass doors, a hopeless kick encircling my ears as I slid down, resting my back against the wall as I choked back a sob.
