Once we left Connell's office, Chase and I, including two other men walked down a hall and toward a room. At the doors, two men stood, guarding the room as if what was inside was important. When our presence was revealed, a few heads turned to stare directly at me. The only thing I could do was stare at the ground, wanting to be anywhere but here.

Nearing the large double doors, many heads nodded in respect for Chase. For his respect for Connell, that's how he must earn respect from the others as if he was the boss as well. Maybe it was because Chase was afraid of Connell and would never dare cross him but only be loyal to him. The two double doors opened wide, two men coming to either side of me as we entered into what was a large room. My eyes drifted up from the golden and white floor, watching figures walk around the mansion. Looking to my left, I saw couches with werewolves lounging around, some even releasing smoke from their mouths. Glancing to my right, there was a secluded area off on its own, a few women sitting in men's laps, kissing each other.

"No! Just kill me already! Please!" A piercing scream came from a hallway ahead and to the left of me, the two werewolves remaining next to me while Chase moved from where we were standing. It was a sight that made me terrified, a chill so cold sending waves of shock down my spine. A girl with curly blonde hair and wide frantic brown eyes was being attacked by a huge brown wolf right before my eyes.

She had trails of blood coming from a set of gashes in her body, including her neck, wrists, arms, and even just below her collarbone due to the beast's ruthless sharp claws and teeth. She was wearing a simple dress that was once white, but her own blood stained the fabric, her horrified screams louder than before. Chase sighs in frustration, the girl's screams of pain caught everyone's attention when the wolf went for the kill and aimed for her neck. It was an instant kill, the girl's eyes staring back at me, lifeless and terrified. A sob escaped me as a terrified scream threatened to release from my throat at just how brutal these monsters really were.

"Bastard. That's another kill," Chase growls and whispers in my ear, "that's what will happen if you disobey us so don't be stupid and you'll be fine." I watched in horror as the wolf burried its fangs into the side of her neck, her blood curdling screams mixed with her tears and choked sobs echoed in the large room. She tried to claw and push the beast off of her but it was useless. The wolf pulled its head back, tearing out the girl's throat.

The girl laid on the floor, her shocked expression on her face was haunting, her eyes wide with fear while her hands went to her neck. Blood poured out into the floor, the smell making my stomach churn in disgust. I gagged, a feeling of sickness overcoming me. My skin heated and I felt like I was about to throw up, the pounding of my heartbeat in my ears. She gurgled on her own blood, drowning in it until there was no sound left. Her body fell limp as she laid on the cold hard floor, the wolf's bones cracking as it morphed into a man. His naked muscled back was to my view until he turned to notice our presence, his eyes meeting my own with dark eyes. I turned away after that.
