There was a moment where nobody moved, like they were thinking if they were virgins or not. Then, all the guys got up, switching chairs silently.

I wasn't that surprised that all of the guys, and none of the girls, stood up and switched seats.

When all the guys sat down, Jake stood in the middle. He turned around slowly, as if he was trying to figure out what he was going to say. He stopped when his eyes caught mine, staring at me intently.

After a few moments, I broke away from his gaze, shifting uncomfortably.

Jake frowned, clearing his throat. "Um... Mailman coming for..." He paused for a moment. "For... For... Uh... For anyone who still loves me."

It was only when I stood up from my seat that I realized that it had been a trick... well, sort of. Jake had emphasised 'still loves me', and apparently, everyone else had gotten the message. Everyone but me.

Jake grinned at me as he walked over to me and kissed me on my cheek. He sat down on my previous seat, and I was left to stand in the middle.

"Isn't that considered cheating?" I asked Jake, raising an eyebrow.

"Is it on the rule book?" Jake shot back.

I frowned. "You know, I could eat a bowl of alphabet soup and shit a better comeback than that."

Jake laughed, leaning back in the chair. "Is that so?"

"Yeah," I deadpanned.

"Can I watch you, then?"

"Oh, God," I choked out, shaking my head while laying it on my hands. I looked up at Jake, sighing, "Sometimes, I wonder why I'm with you."

Jake smirked. "That's because you love me."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. I love Ashtin but you don't see him... acting like you," I said, waving my hands in his direction.

"So does that mean that you love me more?"

"I'll have to think about that." I turned to the other direction of the circle. "Mailman coming for all the high schoolers!"

Everyone jumped out of their seats and ran towards another seat. I went to the seat that was right in front of me, watching everyone else that didn't have a seat fight for the last two seats. It was Nicole against Liam against John.

Liam and Nicole teamed up against John, bumping him out of the way and snatching the last two seats.

John grumbled, standing in the middle. "Um... Mailman coming for anyone who wants to do something else."

All of us got up, laughing.

"You only said that because Liam and I got the chair from you," Nicole told John.

"Nah, I was getting tired of playing it," John replied.

"So was I," I said, yawning and stretching afterwards.

There was a moment of silence before Jake decided to break it. "Hey, what time is it?"

Dawn looked at the clock. "Almost one," she said, grinning.

"Alright, then. Later, guys!" Jake said, giving a salute and ushering me towards the door.

I titled my head back to look at Jake. "Am I leaving too?"
