"We'll see you guys later?" Dawn asked us.
Jake and I nodded. We were out of the airport, all of us going our separate ways to our cars, then to our houses.
"Just text us whenever you want to meet up," Jake said.
"Tomorrow?" Leah asked, looking around to all of us.
"Just not early," I replied, yawning. Everyone else nodded, agreeing with me. I yawned again.
Jake, seeing me yawn, cut the conversation short. "Alright, we'll talk more later? We're gonna go back to the house."
"Alright, see ya, man," Russ said, fist bumping Jake.
"Bye," Jake and I said.
"Bye!" They chorused back.
Jake and I started headed towards Jake's car. After putting the luggage in the back of the car, he opened the door for me, like a gentleman.
"Thanks," I said, yawning.
Jake studied me for a moment, placing his hands on either side of my face. "Lex?"
"Mm?" I yawned again.
"I believe you're tired."
"I believe I am." I closed my eyes.
"I believe so."
"I believe you."
"So you believe that I believe that you're tired?"
I cracked an eye open to look at Jake. "Jake?"
"Yeah?"
"Cut the crap so we could go home," I said, yawning again.
"Yes, ma'am." Jake smirked, closing my door and slipping into the driver's seat.
"Don't you ma'am me," I pretended to be offended.
"Sorry, ma'am."
"Jake?" I asked.
Jake turned the engine on, backing the car up and started driving us home. "Yeah?"
"I'm tired."
"Hello, Tired."
"And you're stupid."
Jake chuckled. "I thought my name's Jake."
"Nope, it's Stupid."
"Ah?" Jake raised an eyebrow at me.
"Night, Stupid."
Jake laughed. "Night, Tired.
Someone was shaking my shoulder. I grumbled, turning so that my back was facing that person. However, the person kept on shaking me.
"Lex," the person- who I realized was Jake- shook my shoulder again. "C'mon, wake up."
I ignored him, trying to go back to sleep.
"We're home."
With those words, I opened my eyes. Jake was right, we were home. I unbuckled my seat belt, getting out of the car.
