"So, what else do you feel like doing?" Jake asked, playing with my hair. We were still watching TV in his room, cuddling on his bed.

"Mmm..."

Jake chuckled. "What kinda answer's that?"

"Mhm..."

"Lex," Jake whined.

I looked up into his face. "What?"

"What do you wanna do?" Jake asked again, sighing.

 "Let's go get ice cream," I suggested, grinning.

Jake nodded. We went to his car, and he started it, when he turned and asked me, "Where to?"

"Is there a Cold Stone near here?"

"Yeah," Jake said, pulling the car out of the driveway and heading towards Cold Stone.

I turned on the radio, switching channels until I stumbled upon a song that I knew- 'We Are Young' by Fun. This song was really catchy, and I liked it. Smiling, I started to sing along.

'So if by the time the bar closes, and you feel like fallin' down. I'll carry you home- toni-ight! We are young! So I set the world on fi-re! We can burn brighter, than the su-un!'

Jake smiled. "You have a really nice voice, Lex."

"Thanks," I said shyly, blushing.

"Aw," Jake cooed, pinching my cheek with one of his hands, "Look who's blushing."

I swatted his hand away. "Shut up."

Smirking, Jake turned his attention back to the road. After a couple of moments, we parked in front of Cold Stone. Jake cut the engine and went over to my side of the car, opening the door for me.

"Thanks," I told Jake, smiling. "But, you know, I can open the door by myself."

"Yeah, but I have to treat my girlfriend," Jake grinned, emphasizing the word, "really well, because I don't plan on losing her anytime soon."

With that, he opened the Cold Stone door, ushering me to go in first. After he went in, he wrapped his arm around my waist, leading me towards the counter.

"What do you want?" Jake asked, looking at the menu.

"Hm..." I was searching the menu. Finding one that sounded good, I told Jake, "I'm going to get a small Oreo Overload. You?"

After scanning the menu, Jake replied, "I'm gonna get All Lovin' No Oven, on one of those waffle bowls."

After we knew what we wanted, we went up to the counter. A Cold Stone worker came up to us, a teenage boy, who looked about our age. He was about to say something, when he stopped short, staring at Jake in recognition.

"Jake!" He said, smiling.

Jake grinned, nodding his head as a greeting. "Hey, Spencer!"

Noticing me- and Jake's arm wrapped around my waist- Spencer beamed. "So who's this pretty lady?"

"This is Alexis Taylors, my girlfriend," Jake tightened his arm around my waist, "She's the girl that I'm living with now."

"Oh, right. Hey, nice to meet you. I've heard a lot about you. Name's Spencer, did Jake tell you about me? Hope we become good friends." He extended his hand to me. I placed my hand in his, shaking our hands.
