"Hey Jake, have you seen Ashtin?" I asked as I came down the stairs.

He was laying on the couch, watching TV. "Nope," he didn't even look up from the screen.

"What about earlier today?"

"Nope."

I went in front of the TV, blocking his view. Putting my hands on my hips, I asked him, "Are you sure?"

"I haven't."

"Then help me find him!"

"I'm watching TV."

I opened my mouth, about to yell at him, when a thought struck me. "Oh my God! It's like we're an old married couple!"

Jake finally looked up at me, grinning. "So we're married now?"

I bopped him on the top of his head as I passed him. After I checked every room in the house and every square inch of the backyard, I finally concluded that Ashtin had just gone for a walk or something. I put on my jacket, passing the living room.

"I'm heading out," I told Jake.

"Where?"

"Starbucks."

"I'll go too," Jake told me, turning the TV off and rolling off the couch.

Since Starbucks is pretty close to the house, we decided to just walk there. After Jake locked the door, we headed off.

On the way, I heard someone fart.

"Ew, Jake!" I cried out. "Seriously, why do you always do that?"

Jake smirked. "It's a natural thing in life, Lex."

"Well keep it where it's naturally supposed to be- the bathroom!" I told him, giving him a little shove.

"Do you want me to do it again?"

"NO!" I cried out.

He farted again. "Too late," he told me, smirking.

"You act like you're 6."

"And you act like you're my mother."

I stuck my tongue out at him.

Jake chuckled. "Now who's acting like they're 6?"

I sneaked behind him, jumping on his back. "Fine, since I'm 6- piggyback ride!"

Jake groaned. "Lex, you're so heavy."

"Oh, wow, that's something nice to say to your girlfriend, Jake." I said, giving him a light slap on his shoulder.

"Hey, hey, don't ruin the merchandise, little lady," Jake said, chuckling.

"'Little lady'?" I asked, "What happened to me being so heavy?"

Jake chuckled. "I was just kidding, Lex."

"Maybe you were just kidding!"

"I was, I just told you that."

"Maybe you just told me that!"

"Lex, get some better comebacks, yours suck!" Jake told me, laughing.

"I'll do that when you stop farting."

"Oh, that's mean."

I giggled.
