"Falling for you is dangerous. I can't control my own emotions, my own movements when I'm with you. If I fall in love, you know what will happen next between us. The fall," I said.
There was silence between us for a few moments, and my heart pounded...
@margotkatefranklin: "when the world's on fire, we won't even move. there is no reason if I'm here with you."

"Which one?"
Shawn held up two different ties, placing each one against his white button up shirt. I looked at each, and shook my head.
"Neither," I replied, taking a black one from the closet and holding it up to him.
"I wanted one to match your dress," he replied.
I chuckled. "That's very sweet, but it's just one of my Dad's stupid work parties, not prom." I wrapped the tie around his neck and used it to pull him closer to me, giving him a quick kiss. He smiled as I tied it, a skill Evan had taught me a long time ago. Funny, I'm sure when he was teaching me he never thought I would be using it to tie someone else's ties.
I felt his eyes on me, a small smile on his lips. I finished tying it and straightened it out for him. "There you go," I told him, putting my hands on my hips.
"Perfect?" he asked.
I nodded. "Perfect."
"Just like you," he told me, and I rolled my eyes.
"Just hurry up and get yourself together. I don't want to be late to a party at my own house," I said with a smile.
"We have plenty of time, just chill," he told me. "Another example of you worrying way too much."
"What else am I good for?" I asked, and he chuckled and shook his head.
"Oh, be quiet," he told me, grabbing his shoes and sitting next to me on his bed. "What's this whole thing for, anyways?"
