PART 1.7
2ND POV
8/7/17

"I look outside and see a whole world better off without me in it, trying to transform it."

The Decepticon scientist, Shockwave. In the mesh.

"Oh scrap." Airachnid mumbled, readying her razor-sharp spider legs at the sight of him. The two mechs accompanying her raised their fists, prepared for another battle. Shockwave shot at them and narrowly missed. The rookie and scout shot their blasters while she shot her webbing.

The Decepticon was able to use him arm cannon and destroy one of the oil machines. It made a gigantic explosion that made oil fall from the sky like a rainstorm. And other one, and another one. Another one again. One more. The next explosion pushed the Autobots forward, burying their faces in the dirt, and almost ruining their paint jobs.

"How epic was that?!" Smokescreen asked them euphorically. The femme scoffed. Even you weren't as excited when something dangerous went on. You were a mixture of sarcasm and nervousness, just a big ball of anxiety with a hint of pessimism. Shockwave's alt. mode jumped over the three of them from out of the dark smoke.

The mechs drove and the femme flew in pursuit. The cannon aimed in their direction and shot at the trio as the maneuvered around the blasts. Optimus flew in from the sky, as if on queue. The Prime dove down as the cannon aimed up at him, getting closer to the cyclops by the second.

The flying mech transformed his servo into a blaster and made a direct shot in his enemy's path. The vehicle flipped, Shockwaves turned into his bipedal mode, and he lost hold of the Predacon bone. It looked like a jaw bone, and it bounced and rolled away from his grasp. Smokescreen whooped loudly.

"Now that's why he's a Prime!" He yelled. The former 'Con scoffed at his behavior, but put up with it because of your close friendship with the two mechs. Though, she did hate when Bee flirted with her, and that usually ended with her threatening to spit acid all over the scout.

A ground bridge opened up, right in front of Shockwave. Soundwave flew out and shot at the Autobots, giving time for the other Decepticon to recover. Optimus pursued the silent TIC, but spotted his collaborator making a break for the ground bridge. With the Predacon fossil.

Bee landed a kick to the cyclop's back, Smokescreen pounded him on the ground, and Airachnid kept him there with some webs. The scout made a grab for the fossil. Unfortunately, while Shockwave struggled in the webbing, he punched Bumblebee into the side of the bridge they fought on. Airachnid grumbled a few swears in cybertronian. Smokescreen shot at him only to be shot down himself by the scientist's arm cannon. The femme had the same thing coming.

The Autobot leader was almost successful in his battle against Soundwave! Much to his dismay, Laserbeak was able to latch on and take the mech. He crashed into one of the bridge's pillars, into a boulder, and then on the ground far below. The fall was undoubtedly painful, and the Prime could only hope his team was having better luck. And they were!

   Somewhat.

Punches and blasts were exchanged from Autobot to Decepticon and back. The bone was currently being retrieved, but it was also broken from their attempts. What seemed like a rusted tooth fell from the bridge, catching the optics of Optimus Prime. A ground bridge was summoned at the will of the silent 'Con, landing the bone in the warlord's servo.

"No!!" Optimus grunted, his own servo clutching only air. Soundwave and Shockwave fled the scene with another ground bridge aiding their escape.

Primus damned Decepticons. Sorry, Autobots! Not today . . .

   Let's see how you're doing!

Ultra Magnus' ship landed in the Hiberdes Bluffs of Scotland. The area was directly above a cave that Decepticon troopers were searching through.

"Alright Beast Hunters!" The Autobot SIC said as the platform you stood on descended. "According to our intel, the Decepticons should be excavating for Predacon bones directly beneath us."

"On it, chief!" Wheeljack smirks and runs off.

"Does Wheeljack not comprehend the chain of command?" The lieutenant asked you and Bulkhead in annoyance. "I didn't authorize him to advance without proper cover." Your big, green friend tried to spit out an excuse, but was interrupted by a certain somebody.

"YEEE HAAAA!" The wrecker shouted happily. Oh come on, you thought, he's gonna blow our cover!

"Jackie, wait up!" Bulk told him as he helped you climb down.

"Yeah! Ultra Magnus wants us to—" The other wrecker cut you off.

"Blah blah blah." The renegade ignored you, lowering himself. Bulkhead shushed him with a digit to his dermas and pointed downwards. Your optics followed, finding a vehicon guard wander out of the cave. Magnus sighed in frustration, and turned his servo into a blaster.

   "Wrecker fact #17," Wheeljack said.

"Guards never look up." Bulk finished the sentence. You watched in anticipation, knowing anything could go wrong. And something obviously did. You slipped and almost fell off the cliff side, sending some rocks down onto the ground, right next to the guard's pede.

"Scrap." You squeaked, biting your derma. What a stupid mistake! The last thing that guard saw was Wheeljack falling towards him with his katanas out. Bulkhead chuckled, but the commander could only stare down in disapproval.

Suddenly, more guards swarmed out, guns-a-blazing! You and your comrade jumped down to take some more drone lives, quickly mashing and disembodying them. The lieutenant hopped down this time from his perch, using his own blaster to swiftly kill the vehicons from above. He also used the Forge impressively, swinging a hammer like any skilled Bot would. Except this was 20% cooler!

"That's why we wait for cover." He hissed at the former rogue, whose back was facing him. Wheeljack was about to retort when a knocking sound came from within his chassis.

   "Aaah bolts."
