Sleepover (Day Two)

-Sarasienne's POV-

Nakakapagtaka ang pangalawang araw ng sleepover ngayon, bakit may mga aso pagdating ko dito?

Pinuntahan ko si Luserina na nakikipagkwentuhan kay Alenia sa may kusinahan.

"Luseria anong meron? Bakit ang dami namang aso dito sa bahay niyo ngayon?"

"Makikitulog ang mga adopted dogs namin ngayon dito. Parang reunion nila. Ito kasi yung araw na nabuo ang XLR8."

Ano ba naman ang mga ito ang daming grupo! XLR8, ELEGANCE, Razor Four... May dadagdag pa ba?

"Talaga? Papaanong nangyari?"

Narinig yata ni Ximena ang pagtatanong ko kay Luserina kaya naman.

"Gusto mong malaman kung papaano nabuo ang aming grupo?" tinanong sa akin ni Ximena. Medyo nahiya ako doon. Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit nahihiya ako kay Ximena siguro dahil sa aura niya?

"Come to think of it, it's already our fourth year anniversary as a group. Why don't we drop by memory lane?" sabi ni Ximena.

Sinimulan na ni Ximena ang pagkwento hinding-hindi niya raw makakalimutan ang mga nangyari noon.

It all started when I met these two. I was walking home when I saw them gathering street dogs. I was curious on where they were going to take such number of them so I followed these two. They entered them to the clinic of a veterinary physician. I was touched by their act of kindness, I once had a dog who passed away. I suddenly had the urge to form a group that will have an advocacy regarding this matter. I was the student council president back then, I asked permission from the of Heartgold University principal if I could form a group.

The name came from the people behind this group which was me, Luserina, Rainier and the number of the members of the group which was eight. We held auditions to find the five that will complete the group and upon finding them the eight members were finally completed and with that, the group XLR8 was born.

These dogs we've adopted were just wandering in the streets. First we had their checkup and vaccination and then we adopted them and let others adopt them too. Its better that we get them first before those dog eating humans get them.

Isa-isang ipinakilala nila sa akin yung mga adopted dogs nila. aaminin ko lubong na ako sa kahihiyan dahil bago pa lamang kaming nagkakakilala maliban kay Luserina, Milich at Rainier yet they are telling me all these things as if I'm one of them.

Si Luserina ang kahuli-huliang nagpakilala.

"Sara meet Melody my adopted dog. She's been with me since first year college."

Biglang sumingit si Roxanne at nagbigay ng isang trivia.

"Si Melody kapares niya si Harmon, nag-iibigan ang dalawa tulad ng nag-aalaga sa kanila."

Tulad ng nag-aalaga... Si Luserina at... Si Rainier...

"Wala kasi si Rainier kaya wala rin si Harmon. Naiintindihan mo naman siguro kung bakit sa kanila namin ipinagkatiwala ang dalawa hindi ba?" kumindat siya sa akin saka naman tumawa ang lahat sa sinabi niya. Pero ako... Nasasaktan ako lalo magmula nang malaman ko ang totoo.

"Nga pala handa na ang hapunan natin." biglang sinabi ni Luserina.

Habang kumakain naisipan kong tanungin si Luserina upang subukin siya.

"Si Rainier, kamusta na kaya siya?"

"Hindi na natin siya dapat pang inaalala Sara,"
