XLVII: Under the spell

Sinasabi ko na nga ba. Hindi mawawala sa course namin ang pagtravel para sa training namin. Ito na nga ang pinakahihintay kong pagkakataon.

And what do I expect from a school like Heartgold University? Of course out of the country! Ang expenses, kasali na yun sa binayarang tuition fee.

Vienna City, the capital of Austria is our destination.

Mukhang pumapanig ang tadhana sa akin. Ang kinakailangan ko lang gawin ay humanap ng pagkakataon upang maipatak sa inumin ni Rainier ang Love Potion.

Magpakasaya ka na Luserina dahil malapit nang magiging akin na muli si Rainier.

We've arrived at the airport.

Habang naglalakad papunta sa baggage counter nakita kong naglalakad papunta sa direksyon ko si Luserina.

"Sara i-enjoy mo lang ang trip ninyo." sinabi niya sa 'kin as we passed by each other.

Hindi ako umimik sa sinabi niya. Pinagpatuloy ko lang ang pagakyat hanggang sa makapasok na ako sa airplane.

It took us 19 hours before we finally arrived at Vienna City because we had some stopovers but the wait was indeed worth it as we arrived, a beautiful sight welcomed us.

As we walked by the city streets we hear wonderful music being played by musicians. The streets were indeed lively.

When we arrived at the hotel, it was indeed classy. I loved the chandelier that was hanging at the ceiling. We went to our assigned rooms and left each of our luggage there to finally set out and get to explore the whole city of Vienna. We were accompanied by a tour guide that took us to different landmarks of the city.

Our first destination was the famous Ringstrasse. This wide avenue lined with splendid historical buildings dating back to the late 19th Century encircles the whole old town of Vienna. next is the street called Der Graben, according to the tour guide, the street can be traced as far back as Ancient Roman times. Today, it's a pedestrian zone where you can go both shopping and sightseeing. The street leads to the Stephansplatz, where the Stephansdom is located, it is where the beautiful cathedral was located. The cathedral has a colourfully tiled roof and a tall tower. After that we went to the monumental Maria-Theresien Platz, which is home to two major museums: the Museum of Natural History and the Fine Arts Museum.

It was almost dinner time when we returned back to the hotel we are staying at.

"Several Austrian dishes will be served for dinner including the restaurant's specialty, their very own Grüner Veltliner wine. There is a huge number of students here right now so the food isn't ready to be served just yet so go to your respective rooms for now." the tour guide told us.

What the tour guide said just gave me an idea. Tamang-tama. No one will ever suspect,

Habang hinihintay na maluto ang pagkain, pinapasok muna kaming lahat sa kwarto namin. Kailangan kong pumunta sa kusina pero ayaw akong palabasin ng mga kaklase ko. Sa dami ba naman ng pwedeng makaroommate yung president pa namin at ang mga kaibigan niya ang nakaroommate ko.

Gamit ang mind recital, ginamitan ko ng spell ang mga roommates ko pinatulog ko sila. Matapos ko silang patulugin, nagteleport na ako papunta sa kusina. Mabuti nalang at walang hidden cameras ang hotel na 'to wala akong dapat ikabahala.

Mukhang problemado yung chef. Nag-iisa lang kasi siyang nagtratrabaho.

"Hi Chef! Why are you alone here?" I asked.

The chef wiped of his sweat in his towel before answering.

"My assistant went out for a break, I don't know why he hasn't return yet."
