When Luke and Ashton woke up the next morning they walked downstairs to find Austin, Cody, Tom, Harry, and Josh standing in the lobby. “I guess Colin and the others have already left?” Luke asked when they reached them.

Austin nodded. “They left about thirty minutes ago.” He put on his red sunglasses and walked out to a shiny black Chrysler convertible. “I’m starting to think we should’ve taken the Range Rover,” Luke said, looking at the car. “There’s no way all of us can fit in here.”

“That’s fine,” Josh said, pulling out a set of keys and motioning towards a white Mercedes. “Harry and I will just drive behind you.”

Luke shrugged. “Whatever you want to do.” When the two had walked away, he climbed in the driver’s seat of the Chrysler and put the key in the ignition before taking the top down and pulling out of the parking lot. He adjusted the rear view mirror and turned around to look at Cody, Austin, and Tom, who were in the backseat. “None of you wanted to sit up front?”

Tom was about to say something, but Ashton interrupted him. “Do you mind me sitting up here or something?”

“Not really,” Luke replied. “I just asked.”

“I just wanted to be close to you,” Ashton whispered, causing Luke to look at him in disgust. “Look, Ash, if you’re going to be saying things like that all day I’m going to turn around and go back to the room.”

Ashton didn’t say anything, just rolled down his window and looked out at the buildings they were passing by.

About ten minutes passed until they reached the waterfront, where Luke carefully drove the Chrysler onto the ferry. Once they left the dock he stepped out of the car and followed the others to the front of the boat, along with Harry and Josh.

“So, where are we going exactly?” Harry asked, running his hands through his curly brown hair.

Luke grabbed a brochure from a stack of magazines near a set of stairs. “Let’s see…this ferry goes to a place called Lime Kiln about two and a half hours from here. It says it’s one of the best places in the world to see orcas.”

Tom leaned against the railing and looked down at the sparkling blue water below them. “You know, I’ve never been to Seattle before, but it has to be one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen.”

Josh nodded in agreement. “I love it here. That’s the best part of being a drummer for a world famous band; I get to see places other than England. I love living in London, but it gets old after a while.”

“I know how you feel,” Ashton smiled. “Luke and I love Australia but we also love to leave and see new places.”

They stood quietly for a few minutes, staring out at the tall snow covered mountains that bordered the water. “I think I’m going to go inside and get me a hot chocolate or something,” Luke said, breaking the silence. “I’d rather have blood, but we all know I can’t exactly get any of that.” He walked away from the group and entered the indoor part of the ferry, walking up a set of stairs that led into the small cafeteria. He grabbed some hot chocolate from a pink cup on the counter and walked over to the cashier, but stopped in his tracks when he noticed a dark figure standing across the room in the corner. The drink he was holding slipped out of his shaking hands, spilling its contents all over the floor and onto Luke’s black and red Vans and ripped skinny jeans. “Nathan,” he whispered, walking past the cashier that was looking at him with an aggravated expression. He cautiously made his way across the room until he was standing face to face with Nathan, who was wearing a black leather jacket, dark jeans, and black boots. His eyes were glowing red, his brown hair was perfectly styled, and he was staring at Luke with a smirk on his face. “Nice to see you again,” he said in his thick British accent. “How have you been?”
