You were walking out of the main building, planning to wait for a certain red head, when you saw one of your classmates approach two kids from Class E.

It looked like they were being harassed, and you couldn't stand to let it go on. You were known at the school for your cold personality, and you weren't afraid to defend anyone from the End Class.

You sighed, locking eyes with Karma from across the campus, giving him an 'I've got this' look.

Going up to your classmate, you dropped your school bag, and before he could turn around, you had his hands behind his back, while you pressed his neck down so that he was bowing.

He tried protesting, but you brought your face to his level and spoke in a monotone.

"Apologize."

He looked seriously offended, yelling "Why should I? They're from E Class, they're not as good as us."

At this, you tightened your grip, moving your hand from the back of his neck to the front, keeping his head in the same position. Your nails dug into his skin, and you kneed him hard between his legs.

"Let me put that a different way. Apologize or I'm going to snap your neck." Your words were cold, but you didn't raise your voice.

He quickly glanced at the two Class E students and squeaked "I-I'm sorry!", before you let go and pushed him away.

Once he was out of sight, you turned back to the students.

"Correct me if I'm wrong...Shiota Nagisa and Kayano Kaede?" You asked, your tone not laced with any of the malice it previously had.

"Y-Yes. Thank you...?" Nagisa trailed off.

"(Y/n)!" A voice called out.

Turning slightly, you caught a glimpse of that red hair you loved so much. (Not that you'd ever tell him).

"Hello second." You greeted.

"Second?" Nagisa and Kayano asked in unison.

"Oh, I'm second in command in her army of darkness. Or so she says." Karma nudged you lightly.

"You two are friends?" Nagisa questioned, surprised that Karma still had anyone from the main building.

"I'm trying to convince her to go out with me, actually." The red head smirked.

He looked at you, eyes glinting with mischief and love. You sighed again. You knew his feelings, because he told you every day. He would also ask you out every day, but you would never accept his confession. To tell the truth, you were scared about entering into a relationship, so tried to keep your cold demeanour in order to deter him.

However, he was never swayed. You knew that you were going to crack eventually, and apparently so did he. The two of you did everything together – you were practically a couple anyway.

"I've told you I'm not interested." You stated, bidding farewell to Nagisa and Kayano.

Karma followed you, and the walk to your house was filled with "I know you love me"s, and "I'm not giving up." You were a bit worried that he would get bored and give up, but at the same time you weren't sure how to accept him.

Suddenly, he stopped in front of you, and because you were deep in thought, you didn't notice until he pulled you in for a hug, wrapping his arms around your waist.

His face was really close to yours, and he blew on your ear.

"Are you underestimating my love?" He asked, in a serious tone you weren't expecting.

"Underestimating...?"

"You seem to think that if you ignore me I'll give up." He responded, before licking the shell of your ear.

He traced circles on your back, and rested his head atop yours.

"I love you." In his voice, you could hear nothing but genuine compassion.

It got you. You didn't want him to give up – you needed someone with you. Someone to comfort you when you cried. Someone that would love you unconditionally.

You buried your head into his chest, tears threatening to spill down your cheeks and on to his shirt.

"I-I..." You didn't know what to say.

"Hm? ~ "

"Ask...ask me again." You tried to sound like your usual self, but your voice was cracking.

Karma unwrapped his hands from around your waist and brought them to your face, holding on like he was going to lose you.

"Will you be mine?" He stared into your eyes, waiting with baited breath.

"Yes." It came out as a whisper, but he got the message when you sealed it with a kiss.
