||Dan's POV||

We fell asleep tiredly mumbling stuff straight out of a cheesy romance movie. It's cliche and insanely cheesy, but it did make the butterflies in my stomach go crazy.

When I wake up its around 11, and Phil is still fast asleep, an arm wrapped around me tightly. He's pressed so close against me I can feel his breath on my neck. My mind catches up to last night and everything that's happened. And I think to myself, Holy shit. I actually did that.

Turns out it wasn't a dream. Funny. I didn't think that my weekend would be going that way. Phil then stirs in his sleep, waking up with a groan. "Morning angel." He mumbles, leaning up and kissing my cheek.

"Morn-" I stop, noticing a flash of a green bar above Phil's head. I do a double take, frowning in confusion. "What the hell?" I mutter under my breath.

"What is it?" He wonders, lips pressed to my shoulder.

"I must be seeing things." I dismiss it, only seeing it for a split second. "It's nothing."

"Okay.." He says, drawing out the word, looking at me skeptically. My mind wanders in the comfortable silence, connecting dots. Maybe that's why Phil keeps looking above my head.. What does that even mean? What does that bar stand for? Am I just going out of my mind?

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom." I say quickly, getting up. He looks at me with a look of confusion but shakes his head, dismissing it. I go into the bathroom and look at myself in the mirror. The bar above my head is a yellow-orange, but definitely much lower then Phil's. I wave above my head, noticing how quickly the bar disappears. "I'm going out of my mind." I whisper finally. "There's no fucking way."

"Dan? You okay?" Phil asks, knocking on the door lightly.

"Uh.. Y-Yeah." I stutter quickly, checking in the mirror again only to see the bar gone. That's it. I've officially lost my god damn mind.

"You sure?" He asks as I open the door.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I say with a smile, kissing him on the cheek.

"I don't know, maybe something to do with last night? You can be a little unpredictable." He mumbles nervously, following me back to his bed. Unpredictable, What's that supposed to mean?

"Nothing to do with last night babe, calm down."  I assure him, grabbing his hoodie from the side of the bed and slipping it on.

"Stealing my clothes now are we?" He teases, smiling.

"We're dating. I'm allowed to take your hoodie." I giggle, pulling on the sleeves and blushing like an idiot.

"Oh yeah, cause I was supposed to know that." He rolls his eyes, slipping an arm over my shoulder. I cuddle up against him, still tired, having just woke up.

An hour and a half later, Phil and I are sitting on the park swings. I don't know why this little park has turned into a place we always go.. It just sort of happened that way. "Ugh.. School. Tomorrow." I groan, looking up at the sky.

"We don't have school tomorrow remember?"

"Yeah, but thats only like 24 hours. Then school. I don't want to have to deal with everyone."

"Not everyone sucks." He frowns, looking my way.

"The majority of people do. Except for you and a few other people." I reason, hopping off the swings and walking around, Phil following behind.

"Well I suck, but I think you're talking about a different kind." He says suggestively, walking next to me and slips a hand in my back pocket, pulling me closer.

"Phil!" I scold, my cheeks turning pink. "What is your problem?"

"You." He mumbles, kissing my cheek, only turning my face a brighter shade of pink. "You're irresistible." He says, making me laugh.

"Your flirty levels went up from 0 to 100." I shake my head, trying to get the color in my cheeks to go down.

"Too smooth for you?" He nudges me, pointing finger guns at me with a wink.

"You killed the mood you dork." I laugh, pushing him as we walk on the sidewalk.

"I can't be flirty for more then 30 seconds." He giggles, grabbing my hand. I groan as my phone buzzes, stopping and grabbing it from my pocket. I see my dad's contact, and reluctantly pick it up.

"Hello?" I mumble, my voice just above a whisper, already feeling like my throat is closing up.

"Daniel. Where the hell are you?" He says, voice already raised.

"I-I'm staying at Phil's for the weekend." I stutter, feeling Phil squeeze my hand comfortingly.

"Fine. Do whatever the fuck you want. But, there are some kids at the house looking for you."

"Who?" I ask, knowing that the only reason people would be looking for me is to bully me or beat me up.

"How the hell would I know? There's three of em."

"Just- Get rid of em. I'm not gonna be home." I say quickly, wanting nothing to do with that school until Tuesday.

"Whatever." He sighs, hanging up. I sigh in relief, stuffing my phone back in my pocket.

"Why the hell does my dad even bother to call? It's not like he cares when I'm there. He hardly ever notices anyways."

"I don't know angel.."

After a while of walking and joking around, I start to notice a grey minivan appearing close to where we're walking ever so often. I dismiss it at first, thinking it must be a coincidence. I also don't mention it to Phil, because I don't want to come off as paranoid. The time when I get concerned is when we walk into the little forest area about 20 minutes from the park. The car parks a few yards away, but I notice it.

"How'd you find this place?" Phil asks, looking around at the large trees.

"I've lived in this area my whole life, remember? I used to do a lot of exploring, and one day came across this area. I found it when I was like eight. Used to come here a lot more.." I trail off, running over the the huge tree and climbing up with ease. Phil just looks up at me with wide eyes. "Well? You coming?"
