Lance
- S/o has low self esteem you say?
- Oh boi, get ready to be showered with compliments and affection because Lance will not allow his s/o to think lowly of themselves.
- This boy will turn your frown, upside down!
- Whenever his s/o accomplishes something mundane or extraordinary, he would make sure to compliment and acknowledge them.
- "That was amazing Y/N!" "Great job!" "Wow, you're getting better and better!" "You're amazing babe," "Just keep on doing you babe!"
- Will celebrate their s/o's success whenever they do something completely amazing.
- Like, probably throw a party and continue to shower them with compliments and affection.
- He will show off or boast his s/o's accomplishments.
- Will literally shut up his s/o once they start talking about how useless they are to the team.
- Lance probably feels the same way as his s/o, since from time to time he does feel like he isn't fit to be in the team, so he completely understands his s/o's low self-esteem.
- If his s/o ever needs to vent to him about what they feel, he is definitely open.
- He tries his best to comfort his s/o when they feel down.
- He'll sneak in some jokes here and there to make his s/o laugh.
- Will degrade or make fun of himself if his s/o made a mistake in training or in battle.
- "Relax, its no big deal. There's nothing to worry about Y/N!" "You can definitely do better Y/N,"
- He'll sneak kisses from them from time to time.
- He'll kiss them on the cheek, neck, forehead, hand, etc. you name it.
- Will make sure that his s/o always feels loved and always reminds them that he wouldn't be the same without them.
Shiro
- Space dad will not allow this, no.
- How dare they think so lowly of themselves.
- Lots of reassurance and compliments from him.
- Honestly, he feels bad when his s/o is like this, he doesn't want them to think that they're not good enough or that they're feeling inadequate.
- Will always compliment his s/o from time to time.
- Will never let his s/o's good deeds go unnoticed. He'll make sure he always points out the good in his s/o.
- He'll make sure to congratulate them whenever they accomplish or successfully complete a mission.
- "Great job out there Y/N, I knew you could do it." "I'm proud of you Y/N."
- Reminds them that he is always proud of them, no matter what they do.
- Whenever his s/o wants to vent to him, he'll snuggle with them or place their head against his chest while they talk to feel comfortable.
- Lots and lots of hugs and kisses ~
- Also feels from time to time that he isn't good enough and not a fitting leader, so he does understand his s/o's mentality.
- Lots of compliment exchange.
- Whenever his s/o makes a mistake or fails a mission, he'll be right there beside them and assure them that its not their fault, and that everyone makes mistakes.
- "Nobody's perfect Y/N, everyone's bound to make a mistake in their lives. Its what makes us human,"
- If that doesn't boost up his s/o's confidence I honestly don't know what will.
- Will always remind them that they're an amazing person, and that he is more than happy to be with them.
