-hanahaki disease. super rare but lance's family has a history. he knows 5 family members who have had it. his older sister who died at 25, his baby brother who died at 12, his widowed aunt who had surgery for the flowers, his cousin who also had surgery, and his dad, who died at 48. he has a stepdad now.

-(genderfluid!lance story time here we go) lance has a lot of lgbt+ family members. his nonbinary sibling, his gay cousin, his bisexual dad, his transgender brother, and now them. they're genderfluid and they dont know how to come out to the team. keith finds out while lance is staring at a skirt in his arms, makeup items scattered on his bedsheets. lance is crying silently.

-lance misses the sunset on the sea. he misses the constellations he could see from his window back in his family's home. he misses his family. he misses when he didn't have to compete with keith for validation. he misses not fighting for the universe's fate every moment.

-lance is into gore, since he wants to rip himself into pieces every second of the day. he makes up for not ripping himself apart by ripping his enemies apart with vigor.

-trans!lance's binder breaks. he panics. trans!shiro finds him in a panic attack, gripping his chest and crying.

-lance hides out in the AI room when he wants to be alone. no one goes in there anymore, not after alfor was 'killed'. one day, allura walks in with a handful of flowers that look like the flowers that always grew on altea (they aren't the same), and she walks into a simulation. it's a simulation of lance's house, and lance is sitting on the floor.

-lotor somehow flirts with/befriends lance on numerous planets, giving him a lovely flower each time he saw him (it looks like a rose). when voltron is in the final battle with him, lotor hacks the comms and simply says, 'but lance, baby. don't you want your flower?'
