Park Jihoon - Best Friend

I was on my way home, not knowing the time as my phone had died. I felt like I was being followed so I quickened my pace. It wasn't until I heard someone call my name.

"Aizlinn!!"

I turned around and saw...
Jihoon.

I turned away and started walking home faster. I looked out of the corner of my eye and saw Jihoon still sprinting to me. I gave up and stopped in the middle of the sidewalk. I turned back to Jihoon and saw him kneeling on the floor, panting out of breath.

"How are you so fast?" I rolled my eyes and kneeled down as well. "You know I'm on the track team. Being fast is what I'm good at." I helped him up, but was then remembered about the scene that just happened. I let go of his hand and turned away. Jihoon sighed and tilted my chin in his direction.

"I'm sorry about what happened in the basement. It's just that....I care about you. Why else would I chase after a track team member?" I laughed a bit at his joke and seeing me laugh made Jihoon feel a bit better.

"Aizlinn, can you forgive me..? I know we've only been dating for six months but,..I love you. I really do. No one has ever made me feel the same way as you do. So, what do you say? Want to give this idiot another shot?" I felt tears coming back after what Jihoon said, but held them back.

I slowly nodded and smiled as I ruffled his hair. "Who else is going to keep you in line when something like this happens again."

Jihoon laughed and kissed my cheek. "It'll happen again. If any guy tries to kiss you or touch you or anything else, I won't hesitate to make them end up in the hospital." I pinched his cheeks playfully. "How about my brother?"

Jihoon nervously smiled. "He's the only exception.." I laughed again but looked around. "By the way, what happens to Woojin? Is he okay?"

Jihoon nodded and pulled me into a hug. "I'm still mad at him, but I can understand where he's coming from. Anyone would fall for you Aizlinn. But what he did is still wrong."

I nodded as I wrapped my hands around Jihoon. "I feel bad for not noticing his feelings. I never knew that someone would love me..." Jihoon broke the hug and placed his hands on my cheeks. "Never think that you're not beautiful or lovable for even a single second. I'm so happy that you're mine. Aren't you?"

I smiled at him "Of course I am. I should be the one saying that. Since when did you become so cheesy." I broke off away from Jihoon and started walking again.

Jihoon ran in front of me. "I became cheesy because I stamped you in my heart! JeoJang~" he sent me a wink which I playfully returned. We laughed for a while until Jihoon grabbed my hand. I looked at him,confused, but just smiled to myself.

"Jihoon.." he looked at me as I continued. "I love you too.." Jihoon smiled as he pulled me closer and walked me home.
